We are blessed to live in a beautiful place - northern Idaho
A different perspective. I like the fifth one best.
I post photographs to the Gallery section every now and then, and I've noticed that a post will get either about a hundred views, or almost two thousand. Rarely is there a number in between, and I wonder why. Does it depend upon the time of day I post, or the day of the week? Is there some hidden variable that isn't obvious to me? Thanks for your response.
Fortunately, in northern Idaho, it is merely cold. It was about twenty degrees when I got up, nothing like the record lows in much of the country. Apparently, though, it was just right for a nice, think frost. Hope you enjoy these.

Nice photos. Back in the day I used to drink at the Whitehorse Saloon and the Linger Longer Bar. Are either of them still there?
The White Horse Saloon is still there. Not sure about the Linger Longer.
Some pictures from a trip today
Last night we had our first significant snowstorm of the season. Today the sun came out.
When we lived in Washington State, my wife would often say that if she had a house with a Mountain View from the kitchen window, she would cry. Well, now we Iive in Idaho. This shot is from the back porch, and it is taken at 400mm. Still nice

Yes, it worked. Great shot.
I know these aren't prize winners, but scenes like this are what make a very pleasant walk on a sunny winter morning.
If I could take photographs like you do, I would call myself a photographer.
Excellent!
That was it! Digital Lens Optimizer. All is well now. Thanks!
