I use Snapfish.com. I have done several books and calendars and always been happy with the results and prices. They are now owned by HP. they also have great sales on all their products. They use local labs to print so the qualityay vary depending on your location. I am near Washington DC and am familiar with the lab they use here and am very happy with their quality control.

So a zoom can't create a star burst?
I like to import my pictures from my iPhone and keep them in my computer. I also import copies of photos taken by others on their iPhone. The problem is, sometimes there are duplicate numbers on different photos. Any suggestions on how to merge the photos into one file in my computer? I just put them in a file on my desktop. No fancy program but maybe I need a program.
I checked out the in-camera filter and I'm not too crazy about the results. I think that the fact that my light source was not pin point is why I wasn't getting any star burst effect. I tried artificially adding some star bursts selectively using Photoshop Elements 11 and am please with the ability to add just the size I want and in only selective positions. I can't seem to get my Nikon D3100 with a kit lens that came with the camera, to create a star burst around lights in a picture. I have tried stopping down to F16 and higher but I just don't get any effect around the lights in the picture. I am open to suggestions.
This is one of my favorite parks. I got more good shots per outing than ever before. You almost can't miss. Get up early and go shooting if it is foggy out. The subject matter is amazing. This is one of the few National Parks that is FREE to enter. Cades Cove is beautiful.
I find it very difficult to know if I have the best focus when focusing manually with the D3100. Does anyone have a recommendation for a replacement focusing screen? I'm not shooting professionally so I don't want to pay a fortune but I would like to know that I am going to get a sharp image.
