No no, you did exactly the right thing - - I was asking because I couldn't find your photos in Newest Pictures, yet I was looking at an image in NP & it was from Main - - later, I did go back far enough in NP and found your lovely ponies.

I've never posted a photo one way or the other, so my question came from trying to find out which way was the proper way - - IF there IS a proper way. So I went to review the rules of both sections and now I know that pictures can be posted in both places, but primarily in Photo Gallery when they are your own pics.

I'm sorry that I hadn't noticed you are a brand new user, and I never should have even asked you a forum policy question - - I should have done what I eventually did and go back to read the rules myself - - I apologize for causing any confusion.

Blackwater is another place with nesting eagles. We also passed two on our way home that I got shots of. We have quite a few around here.

They are pairing up now and should be laying eggs soon, so if you know the location of a nest keep checking it. Conowingo Dam is another place to go for action shots, but be prepared for lots of other photographers to be there. I try to avoid those scenarios.

I like solitary outings with hubby, and the hit or miss approach. I admire those who will set up and spend the day trying to get a handful of shots but I am not inclined to be that patient.

Too many other interests that also require time and effort!
