You should also consider the software you will be using. If it can use multi threads, go with an i7 - it gives you 4 threads and 4 pseudo threads. If you are a gamer, look for processor clock speed. I don't see anyone "needing" an i9 unless you are doing CAD work or heavy video processing. IMO
People buy Leica for the same reason some buy Rolex watches and Mercedes Benz.
Pro Show Gold is absolutely the way to go. Used it for years
I would very much like to see a collector's section. Great idea!

Back in the old days compiled languages don't need anything. Today most of the languages require runtime library to run.
I guess that shows how old I am. Used to program in Fortran on a DEC PDP-8.
C++ is a compiled language so I don't understand why you would need the language. Don't know about Visual C++.
I can't answer your question but I would install the newer NET Framework. C++ and Visual C++ are programming languages. No idea why you would need them.
The OP has either fixed the problem or lost interest, as have i.
It's an eyepiece cover. I had one!
I still believe the USB connection is the most reliable but has several limitations. Mainly, the USB cable is typically only 6 foot long while an ethernet can be long. In any case, the computer print spooler has to serve up the file. I am thinking that a corrupt file is in the print spooler and has take the printer off line. Should rellay look at the print queue and delete all pending jobs. I just don't know how familiar the OP is with computer operations. Just trying to help.
Nothing is more reliable than a direct USB connection!
When you say wireless - is the printer connected wireless to the router or directly to the computer? Have you looked at the printer queues? When you print, the file should show in the queue. Are you sure the printer us online?
I have APC units on both of my computers but not completely pleased. They have a feature that can be implemented that will shut down the computer whan the UPS battery is about to run out of power. The only problem, you cant allow the computer to sleep. Its stupid software that can't wake the computer to allow shutdown. A mouse or keyboard can wake the computer. You can set the computer so LAN activity will wake it. Don't understand why their Power Chute software can't.
Or you can easily resize using Faststone Photo Resizer. Does batches and allows user to select size of reduced photo.
