i just purchased this tripod from a friend it's older but bearly used. but it has no instructions and i can't figure out how to put the camera on. i think it has an extra attachment but not sure. is there a site where i can find the instructions?
it also tells on the lcd screen what each mode could be used for. other than that they'er the same. just $50 more for the t3i though. just looked at both today.
I've come into some old film lenses, I've heard they were compatiabe with the new slrs but these don't fit my xs. Do I need an adapter to use them?

I heard editing photo's on a laptop produces inconsistant results because of various angles of the screen. I need to by a pc and am considering one of the hp touch screen series. would one of these be a good choice?
Elements? is that apart of adobe or another photo program? I've just used what ever came with my point and shoot camra. I have picture style editor that came with my rebel but have no idea how to use it. Is this the same type of program.
I'm interested in learning to use photoshop i see alot of different versions available, where do I start?
