I use an 27" iMac for my photo editing. It seems to work just fine and the prints I get after processing are spectacular. However, if I were using a computer that required a monitor, I'd definitely look at an EIZO ColorEdge CG319X - LED monitor specifically. I'd also use a Datacolor Spyder for calibration.

Do you print your own (what printer do you use)? Or, do you outsource (from whom)?

It depends on how they begin:
"Once upon a time", or " Now this is no shit"

I don't know what kind of photography you would call this. I was just sitting around the house today with nothing to do, so I thought I would experiment a little bit. Surprisingly, the biggest problem I had was with dust. These are my granddaughters’ little figurines and they looked clean until I took the picture and blew them up to a hundred percent. You can see all the dust that was on the figurines and on the piece of plastic. I tried brushing it off, I tried blowing it off with canned air and that all helped but the dust is still there. How do you guys deal with the dust problem?

It's Pixie Dust - there's nothing you can do

Depending on price, I'd be interested.
USPS gives a discount for books.

They don't consider magazines to be books - is lying to USPS same crime as lying to Congress? 😈😈😈
If I label the pkg as books, cost about $22 - assuming it doesn't get opened

Any Nikon users interested - free, you pay shipping.
Issues #51-94; Oct 2015 thru Feb 2019, except for a few escapees - #64,89,91,92.
I'll have to pack, weigh and get an estimate from UPS store.
Damn things are heavy 😈😈😈

Have you visited a Hardware store lately?

Real hardware stores are fewer and farther between than camera stores 😈

Of all the subjects I took in grammar and high school math was my favorite, and my best. I must have realized it was going to be the most useful in 'real life'.

But, I never liked the TV show Numbers.

Is that the one where the alleged mathemetician predicted where and when the crime was about to take place? Stupid premise + (or was it x) bad acting = unwatchable television!

Once all the Mom and Pops get priced out of existence, the Waltons will have the mfrs by the balls and demand lower costs (higher margins) on the road to becoming the ONLY retailer, not just the largest.

"What's the best camera for...?"
"The one you have with you."

For the majority of the current population, that would be the cell phone.

I captured this image at Red Rock Canyon just outside of Las Vegas a few weeks ago, and was thinking about adding some effects and edits using Lightroom? Any thoughts on this?
Thanks

Does anyone have experience photographing the great sandhill crane migration in Nebraska? I would like to go but need recommendations on where exactly to go and when to go. I also would like to know how close you can get. I have a 7D Mark 2 with 100-400 lens plus a 1.4 ext. hopefully that will get me the reach I need. Also, I suppose, is best time of day to go. Any help and suggestions will be helpful. Thanks

Maybe rather than trading photos, we can report how cold it was when you shot. It was 8 F with gusts to 35 mph when I did.

Wind chill around zero or a tad below. Carried everything in and out of the house every 15 minutes or so. Just could'nt keep the fingers warm.
As others have mentioned, except for the weather, same moon same pictures.
