In the hospital where a family member lay gravely ill, the relatives gathered in the waiting room. Finally, the doctor came in looking tired and somber.

"I'm afraid I'm the bearer of bad news," he said as he surveyed the worried faces. "The only hope left for your loved one at this time is a brain transplant. It's an experimental procedure, very risky, but it is the only hope. Insurance will cover the procedure, but you will have to pay for the brain."

The family members sat silent as they absorbed the news.

After a time, someone asked, "How much will a brain cost?"

"It depends," said the doctor. "Democrat brains are $10 a pound and Republican brains are $2000 a pound."

"That's quite a difference. Why are the Republican brains so much more expense?'

The doctor replied, "Do you realize how many Republicans we have to clean to get a pound of brains?"

I'm looking for a high quality 3-axis hot shoe bubble level that will fit on my Canon 5D MKII. I've looked on line and there are lots of choices. Unfortunately, the reviews are mixed on the candidate products or there are no reviews. My criteria are: 1) good fix in the Canon Shoe, and 2) good quality. Price is not an issue given the normal price range of these things.

Thanks!

I've owned a 5D Mark II for a couple of years now, and I love it. However, I do want to trade up to the 5D Mark III. Why? Four reasons:

1) Higher ISOs. I often shoot paintings in museums where no flash or tripod is allowed. Given the light in most museums, it can be difficult.
2) Its easier to get the flash off the shoe with RF control.
3) I suspect the new autofocus is a little better. (The autofocus on the 5D Mark II is actually okay.)
4) I'm a male so I must have the latest toy.

Just to bring another side to this (and I think it's a valid one)

One way to keep the lens changing down to a minimum is to force yourself to take just one lens out with you when you go out on a day's photo shoot....

That way it will force you to be more creative and spend your time creating images out of what you have screwed to the front of your camera rather than spending your time changing lenses.

It also has the advantage of making you VERY aware of how your chosen lens sees things and you will be more able to "see" a shot after a while...

Your "haul around" pack gets very very small, and you feel "freed" by your limitations.

Just a thought.

Is the entire picture blurry or just part of it? If the entire picture is blurry try using a tripod and a remote trigger. Camera shake is insidious.
