I took 4 cards and three batteries and just had enough for the cards. Good point.
WOW ! I really liked all your pictures.
These are great pictures!
In 2009, my wife and I took a 10 day adventure trip to Alaska. I pondered a new camera for several months. I borrowed a Canon Rebel and tried it out. In the end, I did not want to carry the weight of a DSLR around, so took my present camera, a Canon SX-30. If I were going today I would take a Canon SX-50 like my grand daughter has. It takes great pictures and video. Be sure to take enough memory and an extra battery or two. I'll post some of my pictures soon.
I sent it on to others that would like to hear it.
I'll have to try that, it could be really cute!
Very nice trucks. Sent the url to my son who loves this kind of stuff.
I'm really learning from this site. I'll be 80 in a month. I got my first camera, an Ansco 620-flash when I was 12 years old (1945) and used it till I was about 19 when I bought a Bolsey B2. I was a journalist for a while and ended up having a 38 year career as a technical writer (lots of pictures). At some point I got an expensive Pentax ($$$$) with lenses for about everything (heavy). On a 10 day trip to Switzerland it about broke my neck. I got my first digital around 1998 that had only enough memory to take 40 pictures 320 x 240. On a trip to Germany, I downloaded this camera to my laptop at least twice a day, and still love the 477 pictures. In 2009, my wife took and I took an adventure trip to Alaska, so I considered a new camera. I was using a Canon SX-30IS then. After recalling my sore neck with old Pentax, I decided to stay with the SX-30. I am now considering a new camera and have a Canon SX-60 in mind if it looks good enough for me when it comes out. I like to make photo-books and have done 4 and have 2 in work. My pictures are mainly nature and friends and family. Picasa says I have 54,000+ pictures on my computer in 574 files!
