Yesterday was a weird day. I'm still struggling with passwords and email. Spectrum and Gmail are not cooperating with each other. Spectrum wanted the MAC number from my router. I have three "router-like" boxes, with several cables on each. Turning them over to read that tiny number was a challenge, and Spectrum rejected each number I entered. Then I got a notice that Spectrum had outages in my area. I noticed that my (Spectrum) landline wasn't working. Later in the day, my cell phone had no service. I thought about it, and realized a wire had probably come loose while I was looking for the MAC number. Bingo! The phone wire was not fully plugged in. I thought about my cell phone and suspected my time with Tracfone had expired. Bingo! I subscribed for another year, and I have two working phones.

I've been waiting almost two weeks for UPS to get an Amazon order to me - computer fans, wires, SSD adapter plate. That was all due to arrive by 9:00 PM. Never showed up. This morning I saw an email saying it was delivered to my mailbox. Sure enough, they packed everything into an envelop that fit into my large mailbox. I hope to get the SSD and a fan installed today.

I received an email telling me that my $459 Playstation was being sent - the one I didn't order. There was no seller listed, and I wasn't charged for it. There was an 888 number, but I didn't want to call it.

I hope to make some progress with my passwords and email accounts today, but I suspect this will be a long-term project.

How many of you are in this same situation. This is a table of various stuff related to the technology in my life. Motorized gimbals, non-motorized, battery chargers, cables, camera (one of 3 I own), various manuals (most of them lost by now since all are easily replaced online). This is not even all of it. I have multiple chargers by my bed to charge phones, ipads, readers, watch, overnite.

So, when am I to consider that I am overwhelmed by technology. When is enough? I don't want to have the most toys when I die, since I don't even want to die!
