Watch the next Olympics in 2020. The only photographers using smartphones will be the athletes.

Wrong. The next Olympics is in Tokyo Japan, and everyone uses a smartphone. I live in Hawaii, and travel twice every year to Japan, there are nothing but smartphones. In Japan time is money, and they don't have the time to be adjusting a camera.

When I travel to Japan I notice that everyone uses a smartphone for taking photos. When they see someone with a dslr, they think you are still living in the stone age carrying a large heavy item just like a mulet. Last year I went to the Christmas Honolulu City Lights to take night photos, and between thousands of people I was the only one with a point and shoot. My wife like her samsung s7edge.

I was in Brazil for 12 years, and it was terrible as crime rate are very high. There are a lot of young kids involved with with gangster, and they rob people as a group. Okinawa is a good place to live, but Hawaii is like heaven. The weather is good, and the people are friendly.

Mistake, as I was in brazil for 14 years.

Not that it matters to anyone, but I lived on Okinawa from 61’ to 63’ (4, 5, 6th grade school).
My Dad was stationed at Kadena AFB.
It was a great experience for me.
Nice shots.

Himeyuri peace museum is where the young girls jumped to death and not surrender to the USA army. They were told by the Japanese army to commit suicide, and never surrender.
Churaumi is where they had the ocean expo in the early 80's.

I see that bird all over Hawaii. You walk outside the house and see that bird. They are brown when they are young, and turn red when adults.

You can use a card reader or since you have a micro sd card, purchase a micro sd adapter, and then insert on the back of your imac.

The back of imac has a slot for a regular size sd card, so, you need the adapter for the micro sd card. Most micro sd cards comes with the adapter, or you can purchase one they are very cheap, specially if you purchase from Amazon.

It is good enough for me. It is the sandisk ultra plus 64gb micro sd with adapters, 2pack for $19.99. I use for my samsung s7edge smartphone and my point and shoot camera. My last SLR camera was a Minolta SRT101 that I still keep in my closet. My uncle gave to me in the early 1970's, and I used on my trip to Brazil. The photos came all bad, and a local camera shop told me that it neede a clean and the cost was $160.00. I just put the camera away and never went to a slr again, it is only point ant shoot for me now.

The first photo is a whale of Churaumi aquarium, used to have 3 whales, but there are only one. The second and third are photos from the cave young girls were told to jump to commit suicide during the war by the japanese army, and not surrender to the USA army. The boys were told to commit suicide by jumping from a cliff into the ocean, and not surrender.

Today I went to the apple store, and they found the new folder and instructed me how to save into photos. They told me to transfer back one by one, and then from photos into my imac. Now I have the missing photos back once more.
