It seems that you have actually jumped ahead in time by 5 days and then back again when you logged out and back in again. Could this be an early version of time travel?

The USA is still exceptional! Those that don't believe it are the ones that less than exceptional. They are mostly losers that are jealous of how exceptional this country really is. They believe that the USA must be diminished to a state of mediocrity to make themselves feel superior. I don't feel that we have to "Make America Great Again" because it is already great. Up and coming generations MUST be educated to that fact if we are going to survive. Otherwise, this great country is destined to self destruction.

How about adjusting the points and the timing on your car where you could stand a nickel on your radiator and it wouldn't fall or adjusting the intake on the air and fuel on your carborator. And for those that drove bikes over stickers and got lots of flat tires we would cut the old bike tire along the top right where the side wall would start and made a belt out of the old tire then we would place that belt inside the new tire between the tire and the tube that way you could ride over stickers and didn't have to worry about a flat.
How about adjusting the points and the timing on y... (show quote)

Oh Ya, except we used to call the stickers "goatheads". I grew up in small towns where you were free to run and play almost anywhere in the whole town. It was a safe place where you knew your neighbors and they knew you. Not to long ago I went back to visit a couple of these small towns. How sad, many of the stores had closed and the population had been reduced to almost quarter of what they had been. Yes, those times are gone and I don't believe they will ever return.

I forgot to mention the drive-in movies where you might sneak a couple of your friends in, in the trunk or just have a safe place to make-out with your girlfriend. Most of them are gone too.

Please remember...this is an equipment and post-processing forum, not a photography forum.

WRONG! I think if you look it is the "Main Photography Forum".

I have had my Bose wireless quite comforts headphones for almost 20 years. They were somewhat expensive but they are great and they last. I have tried their latest models and find that they are a little better than my original model but they are not that much better. I plan to wait until mine break and then purchase another set of the Bose. Bose makes high quality equipment and what's more they last.

My first question would be; is this something to be pursued as a career or is it just for a hobby to impress other teenagers? If it's to pursue a career and you're not afraid of the price $1,698.00; I would suggest the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX10 IV. It's an excellent first camera with great features. It takes great stills and video. I think this camera is for the "serious" beginner or someone wanting to break into the profession. If it's only to be used for video blogging; I would consider an entry level video camera in a similar quality and price range. This type and quality of camera is not toy and should not be considered as such. Professional vloggers will spend a few thousand dollars on their cameras and almost as much on their sound, lighting and mixing equipment. In any case, good high quality equipment will enable a talented beginner to obtain good results. Low quality equipment will tend to disappoint and discourage a serious beginner. Good luck with your decision.

Do I believe in everything that's in the Bible? Do you believe in a story that has been told over and over again for thousands of years? Frankly, I don't believe in eye witness reports that are first hand. The details of any story will always be a little different with each telling or being told by different people. As for believing in a higher power, yes I do. We would be a sad species if we were so arrogant as to think we were the highest, most intelligent beings in the universe and I feel sorry for anyone that thinks man is. Trying to "give peace a chance" is impossible when dealing with people whose sworn intent is to destroy you at all cost. I'm not a learned man of letters but I am smart enough to know that doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result is pure insanity. There hasn't been peace in the middle east for thousands of years; so why does anyone think that it's possible now? We certainly aren't any smarter. We do however have more efficient tools for k*****g. The fact is, the one with the biggest stick usually wins and writes history according to their view of it. Man has not yet evolved to a point where peace is even possible with conflict.

AI, as a function, is not the issue. As was mentioned earlier, AI is only a tool just like a car, a gun or a knife. Any tool can be misused. The use of AI is pretty much left to the end user. The developer merely creates and improves the tool. The legality of how it is used is up to society to determine. As an individual, I am free to modify and display any image whether it is under a copy-write or not as long as I don't claim it is my original creation and don't try to profit in any way from the results. AI is only going to become more and more prevalent to a point you won't be able to tell an AI image from reality. I expect that to some that a very terrifying thought. Like anything else in our ever evolving world, we either adapt or become obsolete.

When you "walk softly and carry a big stick" sometimes you actually have to grow a backbone and swing the stick with force. If for no other reason than to get their attention to show you mean business. If you set red lines you had better willing and able to back it up with action. Otherwise your big stick is worthless bluster!

You're the one that brought God into the picture. I wasn't debating anything except to question what you stated to be "Gods way".

God led Moses to the promised land but when Joshua entered the promised land, he did not just say thanks for the land, he took it by force with the help of God. God's way is not always a peaceful one. The great flood is another example, where God k**led a lot of people so he could start over. Even animals battle for territory. It's called survival of the fittest. This is to insure that only the strongest survive. It is natures way, man has just improved on the idea to the point of possible extinction. Would you turn the other cheek if it were your children being slautered?

What is it you are trying to accomplish? A simple copyright/watermark can be placed anywhere on the picture but it can also easily be removed. If you are trying to keep your images from being used with your permission then there is a process called "Digital Watermarking" that can't be seen or removed. Special software is used to embedded your copyright/watermark within the pixels of the picture and can't be seen without using special software and a key-code. Then a simple copyright/watermark can be placed anywhere. If it is removed you can then use the "Digital Watermark" as proof of ownership and file for copyright infringement.

I worked there one summer and you will be going very late in the season. Most things begin to close after Labor Day and it will most likely be somewhat cold. I don't think the park will be very crowed. Been there many times and the weather can be very unpredictable. Have seen 8" of snow on the 4th of July. If you're just looking to take snapshots then a 50mm will be just fine. However, I would also take a wide-angle and a zoom-telephoto plus a tripod. There are plenty of places to get fantastic landscape shots with all three. I would not take a camera on the river unless you have a waterproof case. It WILL get wet. Plenty of chances for animal pictures like elk, deer, buffalo and even bears doing some late summer foraging. You are NOT going to be disappointed even with a late season visit. Have fun.
