Thanks Dodie for your question and to all those who made informative or supportive replies.

Now a question. Was anyone, at all, surprised by the snotty snarky replies by User ID and Superfly TNt? I wasn't.

I guess if you are the owner of the magazine, you can post exposure triangle information or innumberable other things if you choose to do so. If someone does not approve of posting exposure triangle information, perhaps, they should publish their own magazine and leave that information off any descriptors accompanying photographs in the magazine.

John that's a great capture of a beautiful tree and good work with the mower as well.

If Dandelions were difficult to cultivate, they would be much more appreciated by the folks who distain them as weeds. I wonder if there are any varieties, other than the cheery yellow ones, that might be available for purchase.

John, This has nothing to do with your question, but I have to say that I watched a very interesting piece about a group in Tasmania on the search for the Thylacine, or Tasmanian Wolf, thought to be extinct. If it is found, I'll be waiting for your images on UHH. Thanks.

This is a great shot and I prefer the square version, but I'm with Stella who says "Let's quit this artsy fartsy stuff mom and give me some head nookies and behind the ear scratches.

Chief, anyone who has been on this site for any length of time knows that Jerry is the Chief Posting Officer. I hope you're having a great day.

Thank you, Bill deLinda. I know about the all sections list. I was asking if there any sections that existed formerly and are no longer extant. It was merely a curiousity question.

I saw that video and tried to fix mine the same way but, I don't have jewlers screwdrivers. After thinking about the problem, I decided to use my Super Strong Neodymium Disc Magnets without removing the cover! Guess what? It works! I remagnetize whatever that thing is that has to be magnetize. Now I just have to use the camera so it doesn't loose the magnet again.
Thanks for the comments.

There was fellow from the midwest, I'm thinking Nebraska, who used to take a lot of rural barn images; sort of on the line of Jaymatt. Several years ago I remember reading a comment about what a good fellow he was, but regretfully that he had passed on.

Did Blacks2 also die? I haven’t seen him on the forum in quite awhile. I also didn’t know about Brent Harder. Had a chance to meet him and get some surfing shots at San Onofre a couple of years ago.

I’ve missed many of these contacts and just assumed, like me, they were busy with other things. Thanks for the update, Linda. Hope you’re well.

Blacks was one of my favorites. I don't know what his profession was. but he travelled the length and breadth of the western states and had a considerable number of excellent images. I knew that he was getting up in years and asked him if he had any plans for his images. I told him that they were worthy of being in some sort of repository so future generations could have access to them. He thanked me and basically replied that a grandson was going to get his photographs and slides. Thanks.

UHH started with about 10 categories, some broad (Photo Gallery) and some specific (gear for sale).

The next 40+ categories came about from member interest and the willingness of someone to step up and manage the section. At the time that each new section was formed, there seemed to be a lot of interest in a genre-specific ("street" or "landscape" or "food") or composition-specific ("close-up"), style specific ("black and white"), gear-specific ("smartphone") or topic-specific (printers, or travel tips etc).

"Feeling free to comment" is the divisive issue that has been discussed in this thread for 24 pages now (and will be again, I promise). As stands, we don't pay to be here, so Admin/owner sets the rules for Photo Gallery, and we follow them.

Welcome to the family

Just curious, Linda, what are some of the sections that we used to have, but no longer exist? If a section loses its moderator, is the section closed or does it sit in some sort of "suspended animation" waiting for someone else to come along to manage it. Thanks Linda.

Thank you for the tip, I will look for video on the subject.

I looked up "Canon T90 EEE error" on youtube and several things came up. I only looked at one about removing the front plate,. I won't go into it here because it would be too convoluted. The video I looked at was just a little over 8 minutes long was very complete and helpful. One thing I can share is that the guy says The T 90 needs to used on a fairly regular basis, or at least fired off, to keep it magnetized. "The tank" remains my favorite film camera. I need to get mine going again and run some film through it. Good luck with yours.

What the hell have you been doing?" "Get your ass over here!" "I'm tired of waiting on you" Or maybe it was something else. Another great "focused" image. thanks

Did you ask at a Canon film blog? I don't know the name of one but I am sure there is problem a Canon film group out there. Also have you simply googled the problem: Canon T-90 EEE . I have three of them, but it has been awhile since I have used one. I can remember having that problem and I think the procedure involved holding down the "battery check button" but don't hold me to that. I enjoyed using the T-90s. Good Luck
