I do have Lightroom CC 2015. I have the D7000 and D7200. It will read the D7000 but not the D7200. When I try to import the files from the D7200 just shows as gray blank box. When I try import I get a message that says "this file is not recognized by the raw format support in Lightroom". I have lightroom 5.7.1 and camera raw 9.6. bspraque the link you gave me shows that I need Lightroom 6.0. How do I get the 6.0? My Cloud does not show any updates waiting. Thanks Connie

Hello, I have the D7200 and use my Nikon 70-300mm 3.5-5.6 to take pictures at my granddaughters softball games. I can get some really good action shots and head shots of the girls.
I also have the 35 and 85 nikon and use these for more serious portrait shots.

has there been a discussion on this? I did a search but did not find anything. But since the last update on CC I get the message that 3D and other features will not work due to vRam must be 512M. My computer is less than a year old. How do I fix this problem?

There is a way because I recently purchased the D7200. Go to your menu: Playback Menu, Playback display options, Under Additional Photo Info check or select the Highlights, RGB Histogram and Shooting Data. Hope this helps.

I don't seem to understand the plugins much. How do you choose a set of plugins that you will definitely us. I use the Photoshop and Lightroom. I would love to have some processing short cuts. I hear a lot about Tapaz, totally rad, and Jimmy McIntyre has the Raya Pro. I do like landscape photography the most but for some reason I give into shooting weddings and parties with lots of group shots. I try to do all of my portrait work outside. If you do several types of photography what plug-ins do you purchase?

OK - ProSelect puts the image description beside the thumbnail, not under it, so this might be another dedicated piece of sales software.

I did look at the ProSelect if it's not the same it is very similar.

All the people telling you that Nikon Software or Lightroom will do this are wrong. Neither has a price list and cannot print out a receipt at the end of the sale. One way to tell if this was ProSelect or narrow it down, is to look at the receipt - does it have a thumbnail of the image purchased as part of the line item?

She did give us a print of black and white thumbnails. Each picture was numbered. Under the thumbnails was a list of our purchase showing the number of the picture and the size.

It sounds like what I use for sales. It is ProSelect from Time Exposure.

It does all that and more.

About $425 for the basic version and $750 for the advanced version that works with Photoshop.

It certainly could be something else, but ProSelect is the industry standard.

This looks like something I could use and the price is pretty good every for the Pro version.

My husband has his own business but is getting really tired. Lots of stress. I work for him as the bookkeeper. He is considering closing and doing something with less stress so I would look to open a small studio, maybe. He wants to start a video/photo production company doing corporate events, fund raisers, maybe weddings, concerts, etc.

I am considering the studio/photography business. The lady at the church spent about 3 minutes taking our pictures, about 20 minutes showing and giving the good sales pitch and we spent 202.00. There were two ladies taking turns with the camera and they had their own desk set up. They were on schedule and had people rolling through there. They were using the Nikon D7000, did not catch the lens. I currently have the 7000 and 7200 and 4 lens. I would need maybe another lens, lights, back drops, props, etc and a place to rent. I may be able to start this business with 12 to 15 thousand dollars.

My husband likes the pictures far more than I do. I hate the hand under chin pose. The trio set the one my husband likes is being printed on what looked like cardboard with a paper finish. She kept stressing "just a frame no glass is needed". I think it looked cheesy but thats the one my husband likes the most and the one that cost the most.

Okay I will stop typing/talking now. Hope everyone has a great day.

She was using a laptop. I thought it was kind of cool the way she could do set-ups with 2 to 3 different pictures and crop on the fly. It when through the the point of sale, and printing a receipt. Just would like to know what it would cost.

My husband and I were having our picture taken at the church for the church directory. The photography company that came in had some software that would show all the picture just taken. We looked through and hid all the ones we did not like. Then she would show us how two or three pictures would like together printed with a boarder, etc. She was able to resize the picture to show how it would look if cropped for a closer shot. I did ask what the name of the software was but she would not tell.

Does anyone know what software she could have been using or some software that would do something like this?

Thanks,
Connie

After the last few updates from Adobe I seem to be having some problems while editing. The picture on my screen will jump and blink while editing in Photoshop. My entire screen does not jump or blink just the picture. I should not have a problem with processing time. I have the i7 processor with plenty of memory.

Is anyone else have this problem?

Thanks,
Connie
