As a Vietnam Vet, US Army these photo's brought back a lot of memories. My time there from Jan. 6th 1968 till Jan. 8th 1969 was the most defining time in my life. Most of it I remember as vividly today and it was at that time. I had a lot of respect for the civilians in the south, they were resourceful ad hard working for the most part and still dealt with the war day after day and year after year. Tet really opened my eyes. By the grace of God, I am still alive and well. My worst fears were that one of my children would have to go through what we did. To all who served there Welcome Home.

Not so easy if those lenses are Manual Focus as Minolta changed their mount when they introduced AF back in the 80's. You would need an adapter to mount them to a Sony DSLR unless you are referencing a Sony mirrorless camera & you would then still need an adapter to mount them..

Not correct. I have 3 Sony "A" mount camera's that need no adapter to use any lens that can be used on a Minolta Maxxum camera. Sony bought Minolta out and kept the same AF mount that Minolta had been using on their cameras. I have many Minolta lens that can be used directly on my Sony camera's. The older mounts Minolta used before the AF lens for the Minolta's would require an adapter. The Sony mirrorless camera uses an "E" mount lens and would require an adapter to use on the Sony "A" mount.

Buy a Sony camera. That would be the easy thing to do, if you want to use the Minolta lens.

Wrangler (Wow! What is it made of?) The cross is made of steel. It looks like it came in pieces and they bolted it together. I am not part of the group that had it constructed. I read about it and stopped to see it going through Lake City SC on my way home in Socastee SC.

People who are promoting this chrislam need to be exposed as the frauds they are.

This cross was recently constructed in Lake City SC. It is 110 ft tall and 60 ft. wide, was put on private land and built with private funds. Spearheaded by members of the Lake City First Baptist Church. What a wonderful testament of faith this represents.

This is the lowest I've seen. Better hurry they don't last long and especially at this price. I've seen them disappear in one day! I ordered another one for a spare. Just google Canon Powershot refurbished. Free shipping and handling too.

Thanks for the info. I had been planning on ordering one because the reviews were so good from people who owned them. Just had not been pulling the trigger until too late and the sale ended. Just got out of the hospital yesterday and saw your post and went directly and ordered the camera.
