I believe you will really appreciate your Pen F once you set it up the best way for you. If you go to Google and search for "olympus pen f tips" you will find a lot of resources. Some will be helpful and some may not fit your way of photography, but it is a good place to begin learning what can be done and what will work for you.

This brings back fond memories of when I had a wet darkroom. I have a print dryer in my garage. Has been there in the box for many years. I need to move it on, but every time I see it, I remember the joy of seeing my B&W prints emerge in the print tray. I really enjoy digital and my color printers, but still miss that excitement of watching the photograph appear as if by magic.

Thanks for all the replies. My all time favorite magazine, Photo Techniques, bit the dust several years ago. As have most of the others I enjoyed. I still have some of the old large Shutterbug magazines that had all the individual camera ads in the back. Where we looked every month for new and used gear. Before the internet sites. Lots of in-depth and useful articles too. Guess you can tell I am a veteran (read, older) photographer.

I was just on Amazon reviewing my wish list and looked at the Outdoor Photographer listing. I have been subscribing through Amazon on automatic renewal status. This time the listing said that Amazon didn't know when or if the magazine will be available in paper format. But it still lists a Kindle edition at an annual rate. Is this just Amazon or is Outdoor Photographer no longer going to be available in a paper magazine?

I do have darkroom equipment also. I hadn't considered Habitat for Humanity reStore. There is one here and I would be happy to give something to help them out. I helped with building a Habitat house a few years back, but hadn't thought about the reStore. Thanks for the suggestion.

Perhaps I'm the only one who finds himself in this situation, but I have an assortment of photo "stuff", adapters, filters, hoods, straps, etc., that I need to move on to someplace else. After a number of years enjoying my photography, I have accumulated way too much small stuff. Many items don't have enough individual value to try to sell. I have checked with local schools, but most don't want to mess with odds and ends. Any suggestions for a place to donate items such as these?

I am a native New Mexican and El Morro is one of the most special places in the state. There is a very nice visitor's center and you often have the monument pretty much to yourself. If you take a nice hike to the top of the mesa there is an ancient pueblo site worth the walk. My son and I really like the campsite. It is one of the most peaceful and quiet places you will ever find. Indeed, you can sense the many travelers who have passed that way over the last few centuries. Well worth the drive to get there.

On the way, you can visit the lava flow Malpais, the ice cave and an extinct volcano crater.

I have purchased a D7200, D5300 and D750 refurbished along with several refurbished lenses. All have been in perfect working order and much less than new. Refurbished, in my mind, is the way to go. And the D7200 is the one I use most. Has a great feature set and is lightweight and easy to handle.
