Great shot. Ruby-throated Hummingbird are very rare west to the Mississippi, I think this is a Male Broad-tailed Hummingbird. Broad-tailed throat color tends to be more rosy color which seems to be the case in this picture and I would expect to find Broad-tailed H'birds in New Mexico.
