Thanks for looking in and seeing what the "visitors" see - I am pleased that you enjoyed my pictures of your country! I looked your location up on Google map - must have driven right by you on the road from Busselton to Mandurah. For "technical" reasons, this WA part of the DownUnder trip presentation ends tomorrow in Busselton - "technical" because I like to close a series with a couple of sunset shots, the best of which in WA I got in Busselton.

on that road, you'd have been a mile away 😊

You are living in a nice place 😊
I stayed in Palmetto for 5 months in '17 while selling my sailboat (Regatta Pointe)

I've been a surfer my whole life and I can say with conviction that I would not want to be within a mile of #1.

The railway is worth focussing on -afternoon would probably shade the track and the section where it changes passengers. Might be one of those times where overhead sun is needed?

You're headed my way by the look of it. Only 60 miles south of me.

I enjoy your photos. It's interesting to see what catches the eye of a visitor

IF YOU HAVE A BEARD,
Hold the strap against said beard and see if it rips out any hairs.
I've had two consecutive buys do this and gone back to my original.
It is downright irritating and will have you calling into question the legitimacy of the idiots who made them, in colourful language.

I have been taking pictures since the mid-70s. I have done this over half the planet, including 6 years sailing and living aboard in the Med.
Out of the thousands of shots taken, I have 4 on the wall in our dining room (one of which was a double page centre spread in a magazine), one on the wall in our tv room, 3 aken in southern China in 1985 in a corridor and 2 in my study.
So percentage-wise, less than 0.001%. Ten out of thousands.

Anyone have experience with Promaster GH25 vs Benro GH2- did not want to spend the $$ for Wimberly WH200. any other thoughts. will likely be on a Indurio CLT303 and Nikon D7500 with Tamron 150-600G2 or Nikon 80-200. appreciated

I just received my new Lensmaster RH-2 an hour ago. Substantial piece.

Saw recommendations on UHH going back quite some years and took the advice.

Pleased with the item for sure. Comes with two plates so one for my Tamron 150-600 and one for my Canon 18-300.

I have been attacked by an Osprey in the past. So, one should keep a safe distance from them.
Thank you very much, rmm0605.

Same here, though it was more of a "leave, now" thing. Unfortunately, I was on a surfboard so it took me quite a while to leave to where he was comfortable.

Parque Almendares has a massive ficus. And I mean it's massive. John Lennon park. I dont think US credit cards work in the ATMs? Might want to check that. Vinales was nice but if you're already committed, days-wise, do it next trip.

I had this occur when i used my phone once while in Madrid. Could not fathom it.
Then I discovered that I had the camera set to take <some type of frame> but the camera was taking a different type of photo. Can't for the life of me remember what the setting was but as soon as I altered it, the line went away.
Something like taking a square photo on a landscape setting or some such. Changed rhe setting and the line went away.

How true is this?

I was told some years ago that no matter how much your backup drive cost, its switch cost a few cents and they all come from the same factory.

BTW, I use 2 separate drives, plus put them on my old laptop (just used as a drive now) plus put them on another drive from yet another laptop drive which i have in a case.
