At the risk of holding myself up for ridicule, I haven't a clue what you're talking about.

It's a great picture as it is. But it's also a great picture if you crop it and get a closer picture. You've taken such a great picture you can't loose. It's a twofer.
Seriously, thanks for posting and posting the original.

I'm curious to hear the answers to your question, because I don't print my pictures. It may help to define your question if you say how you use your printed pictures, i. E., what level of quality you need.

One of the windows in our office is a very large bay window. We've had a lot of bird strikes against it, primarily Quail who are killed. Last week I had a dove hit the window and bounce off into a rosemary bush. He lay there for a while and then flew off. One time I was in the office and had a hawk hit the window. I thought it was going to break the window he hit so hard but he also flew off. I hate it when the bird is killed. Especially the quail whom I really enjoy watching.

Let me echo alphadog in a different way. Take me for example and apply this to you. I began photography with a fairly good Konica 35mm SLR. With work demands, I laid off for some years. Now retired, I've been shooting a bridge Canon SX50 for the last several years and especially during European trips have taken thousands pictures. Would I like a more capable camera? Of course. But I still only know a subset of my current camera's capabilities. I find it difficult to justify to myself laying out that level of cash, let alone convincing my Minister of Finance, until I'm more proficient w/what I have.
Do you see something of your self w/in this?

Only you can decide if you're letting a mirror hold you back from the photographer you were meant to be."

CHG_CANON has written many times how much changing to mirrorless would change my life as well as my photography. So yesterday my Nikon Zfc arrived. I got up this morning, looked into the mirror, but it was the same old me. I took a picture but I couldn't see any difference in the quality or composition. No epiphany. What did I do wrong? :)

I really feel for you how this question is weighing on your mind. And I'm willing to sacrifice some effort to help you out. Give me your camera and lenses and I'll take them to Europe this year, and we'll see what kind of pictures they take. I'm really doing this for you.
