Thanks Repleo. I have inquired about the 18-105 a fellow hogger has offered. Good price, so I'm considering the purchase.
Ob1 --
That is on my list. Many pros that I have read. Also looking at the Tamron 18-200.
David --
Nice set of photos. I shall put these stops on my itinerary for October.
As I expected, good suggestions! Looks like most are in the 16-100mm+ range. I guess I have some research to do now. Sony 16-70, 18-105, and Tamron 18-200 to check-out now. Thanks again.
Thanks for the input so far. I don't have the adapter. Have been checking out the Sony 16-70mm, though. Might be my choice.
I am going this fall (October). I have seen the places to go provided by other HOGS -- have noted them and it is appreciated. I cannot seem to find any lens suggestions, though. I plan to take my Sony A6000, but need a suggestion, or two, on a good walk-around lens. I have a 30mm and a 50mm prime, and of course, the two kit lenses. Suggestions appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Took this with:
Canon 6D
Canon EF 70-200mm 1:2.8 L
Canon Extender EF 2x III
Handheld -- probably on "auto"
If you are referring to her hands and the bat -- she is just about to swing.
Was taken hand-held from the visitors' dugout. Had it set on auto. I did crop it from a landscape to show just my grand daughter.
I'll try to do better in the future.
Thanks.
Thanks for the info on the RAW download. I'll remember to do jpegs. Might even get some good advice on how to improve. Always looking for pointers to improve the photography.
Thanks. That explains the inability to download the RAW.
She takes softball seriously -- like her mother. Team is the Cheetahs, so it all fits.
Worked all day trying to get a RAW to download, but not go. So, here is a jpeg -- I hope.
Really like my grand daughter's expression.
