I have a D5600. I just plug the SD card directly into my PC which has a SD card slot. Do the same on you IMAC. No need to mess with the cable.
Thanks. Nice photos come from great events like the super bloom. I was in Anzo-Borrero in late march and just missed the bloom. Got great pics from Joshua tree which I'm about reafy to post. Hit it just perfect at sntelope valley and lake Elsinore, Figueroa mountain. Got to pretty well make the whole tour..
Above water was shot with a Nikon D5600 w the 18-300 AFS 3.5-6.3 lens with a circular polarizer filter. Below was a Lumix TS4 with a marine housing.
I was there in March and you definitely have to take it. Your colors will bounce and pop. I have a few pics taken near Darwin that I'm going to post and you'll be able to see the effect.
Quite fortunate to have been there. Talked to a person that had been coming there for years and said this was the best he's ever seen it.
thanks although the pics just cant seem to capture how amazing it was.
I was scuba diving. I have an old Lumix DMC-TS4 which I just love but which Panasonic doesn't make anymore. Good to 30'. I have a housing for it though (good to 120'). I'd say I probably shot that in about 10' of water (the lights was pretty good as you can see). Its not the best camera for underwater and I need better lights. I've upgraded to a Hero7 with 4K video and will shoot video the whole time now. Taking stills underwater is tough.
How close? I'd say maybe 3' away. The creatures in the Galapagos don't seem to care about humans and just go about their business. Likely due to it being pretty remote and it being a nature preserve where hunting/fishing is illegal.
These were shot in March. Some underwater shots.
Some shots I had where the whole picture was red I couldn't upload due to the size. Reading the borchure, the Spanish when they first saw the area, said it was all covered in wildflowers. What's seen now in Antelope Valley is a small remnant of what used to be.
Thanks. It was an incredible year. Hard to believe so much beauty in a desert area with less than 8" of rainfall a year.
You must be a wonderful person to even think that.
These were taken April 4.
Can be a matter of days. Missed Anzo Borrego but got to Antelope Valley at the right time. Those pics yet to come. They are spectacular. The whole state used to look like that at one time according to the early Spanish explorers.
Nice Fish!. Here's one I caught off Costa Rica a while ago. 120lbs on an 11wt.
