Keep an eye on your local Costco. They are in the process of closing down a number of photo locations across the country. People aren't making as many prints as they used to. We will probably lose ours in the Spring.
Feel free to ask your local what their plans are.
Gorgeous image.
It deserves to be published.
Congrats and keep up the good work.
I was asked to shoot a classy piano. . .
Here's one of them.
Here's a link to more of this piano: http://www.leefortier.com/Professional/Baby-Grand/
If you feel that you are ready to move up the Post Processing ladder, I would give Photoshop Elements a try. It does almost everything the CS 6 and CS cloud does without the major cost.
It can be had for under $100 at most warehouses and on line. The learning curve isn't bad as there are thousand of sites to help with anything you might want to do.
Good luck.
My only grey markey item is a 300mm f4 lens. If it needed service, I would send it to KEH.com for repair.
I've had similar good experiences with Adorama.
Recently purchased the same camera. Stuck my Nikon 70-200 2.8 on it to shoot kids soccer and was amazed at the performance of the auto focus and high ISO numbers.
Looks like a winner.

I've used this techniqueon my D750. It works!
I've been using the Induro CM24 carbon fiber monopod for two years now. Strong and light. Currently $122 at B&H.

Congrats. Always a nice feeling when someone purchases an image.
I love my D7000. It's always had a Tamron 17-50 F2.8 (original version - no VR) on it and I've never been dissatisfied with an image. It's as sharp as any Nikon in this range.
BTW: the non VR version is sharper than the VR version.
KEH has one for $278.00.
Good luck.
Captive barn owl with textures added.
Color version wins. B&W version has little impact.
You're right about the Topaz Simplify. Doesn't work well her.
But, this is an attractive cat.
Great shots. You're lucky to have them nearby.
