Going to try this again
I picked up this Tamron 150-600 g2 for a trip to Yellowstone in May. I figured I would spend a lot of quality time this month getting to know how it operates with my 6D mark II. All I can do now is mess in my yard as we are like many, mandated to stay home.
So I set up to get a few shots of the Hummers off my deck today.

Thanks everyone. I just downloaded Kent deFaults ebook. Lots of good info in there. Also I am looking to purchase "A year with my camera".
These should keep me busy until we are released by the government to venture out of our homes here in Washington.

Hi UHH Members,
Since we in Washington State are now in a stay at home mandate I thought it a good time to get more proficient at my photography skills. I am looking for a textbook that has exercises for me to accomplish as if I were in a class. I have done some searching and purchased a few texts but they really didn't work for me.
Anything out there that is easily accesible?

It looks like I can add a 27 inch monitor to my surface pro 4. So if the surface will accept PSE20 I will just get the s/W and monitor for starters.
Any thoughts on going this direction?

Hi UHH members.
I tried to import a CR2 raw image file into PSE12. I changed cameras from Canon t2i to Canon 6D Mark ii and never had this from the y2k files. PSE12 error message says image file not supported from this camera.
Any idea on what I need to do.Keith

Get in touch with customer service and ask to reduce your bill. Especially if you have been with them a long time. Ask for the supervisor and get connected to the customer retention department. I do that every couple years. When they balk a little I just say thank you and tell them I am going to another service. Works every time.

The way people travel these days is by airplane. My wife and I prefer to go by road. We jump in the mustang and end up where ever the road takes us. Then you really see how beautiful America is.

Hi UHH members,
Forgive me if this has been covered before. When I am on my computer and post processing images, what kind of lighting is the best?
Dark room, light from a window, or just the light in the room?
I want to make sure I am not introducing anything that will make my image incorrect.
