Thanks - I've seen that. Does not address my base concern.

no. I'm asking anyone who has made the transition about their experience and which camera/sensor would be better for MW? I actually think the 50 would be better and I'm leaning that way.

How badly do you need 100MP?

Probably don't - but I'm asking if the 100 would be better than the 50 for MW. Also, the 100 is a next generation beyond the older 50s in terms of sensor and other software. It is much faster for auto focus and has better eye detection.
I would think that 102 MP is better for landscape and portrait. Certainly for architecture if I get into that.

Has anyone made the transition from FF to Fuji Medium format? Considering either the 100s or 50s MkII. The 50s has larger pixels. Which would be better for my Milky Way photos? The 50s with the larger pixels? For general landscape I think the 100s would be superior.
Any thoughts or suggestions on that?
And for you that will ask about GAS - I have an old Canon 6D that is showing its age and is starting to have pixels die. It's time to upgrade as I get more into portraits.

Which Fuji cameras do you own? I'm considering transition from Canon FF to Fuji 50sMkii or 100s. Do you think the 50s would be better for Milky Way and landscape with the larger pixels? Any experience with these 2 cameras?

MY Canon batteries charge on the 3rd party chargers, but the Canon chargers will not charge my 3rd party batteries.

I went to the Jupio site also. Found that only way to see specific items was thru the Catalog. However, there was no way to purchase anything. Frustrating, as they look like they have some interesting products, although there were no prices available.

I just thought of something. You are about to enter monsoon season. There are photogs who specialize in capturing those dramatic scenes. I know one from California who leads trips there. I assume there are a bunch in Phoenix/Scottsdale area. I strongly suggest you link up with one of them for an incredible photo journey.

I also know about your wild horse on the Salt River. There are tours that try to capture them hanging out in the water. Another very cool photo op.

We had a condo on Scottsdale a few years ago. I love the desert and can easily find photo ops around there. There has to be really good groups as well to go with.

Thanks Rab.
Maybe I wasn't very clear. Not looking for group or coffee clutch or Meetup group. Just another one or 2 locals that I can go out shooting with. Suggested meeting over coffee to plan trips and share interests to choose adventure.
Seems like every day this site is becoming one of a bunch of GOM with many inappropriate comments, like the ones that reply to someone's quest for information or experience with comments such as "I've never used that product, never seen one, but ........."

With gas so high, would be nice to share cost, it's rattlesnake season, I'm getting old and would be nice to have someone along for cost and safety reasons. Esp if we're out in the middle of nowhere..

Some of the suggestions were well received, like looking up the storm chasers.

It's ok. I just look at some of the responses, shake my head and move on to the next.

Is it just me, or are we getting more and more snarky responses to legitimate questions on this forum? Why not just ignore the question if you don’t have any constructive input?

It's not just you. It's looking more and more like this is a site for GOM who don't have anything better to do than put in their 2 cents.

I'm fairly new to Phoenix and looking for others who would want to get together and go photo stuff. Open to just about anything.

Hit me up and we can get together over coffee or ??? to discuss future adventures.

I've been posting photos on Flickr for several years as a free account - Have almost 500 on there.
Now they will be limiting me to just 50 public images.

What is anyone else using as a free account for making images public? Any suggestions?

Any suggestions on how to migrate those images should I choose to use another service?
Thanks
