I have a 14 year old Pentax K110D and the leather (rubber?) covering on the grip is starting to have a white coloring to it. Did a lot of research on how to get rid of it and tried this: Used a little Windex and scrubbed thoroughly with a stiff toothbrush. It worked perfectly and the grip looks a brand new solid black.
Here in Scottsdale the other day it was only 49 and it was reported that several people were found frozen between their front door and the end of the driveway when they went to get their morning paper.
I purchased two of "The Photo Stick" some time ago and they both work perfectly with no problems.
Thank you StanMac and andesbill!
For Heaven's sake people, just support who you want to support and stop all this crap on this site. It's supposed to be about photography.
Personally, I like Biden.
I have a group of these and they are gorgeous.
I agree, they look great!
Certainly not trying to defend cheap Chinese cameras, but, looking at the downloaded picture he included, how could anyone tell whether it was taken with an $80 or $800 camera? Looks pretty good to me.
A few years back I was in St. Petersburg with a small tour group. One lady was using a cheap film camera and it was taken by a Russian who ran away, but a few minutes later he brought it back to her and said,"here, keep it". A very discriminating thief!
You can find some extraordinary things at Goodwill. Just got a small carriage clock there for $3.75. Found out it was a 100 year old French clock and sold it on eBay for $112! (That doesn't happen very often, but you never know)
