I'm going to be photographing wildlife in Africa next year and am thinking of purchasing a Tamron 100-400mm lens to use on a Nikon D7200. I've read and watched a number of reviews and it appears to be a good lens for my purpose. Am I correct in that assessment? I have a limited amount of money to spend on the new lens.
I have a D7200 and love it. I upgraded from a D3400 and the transition was easy.
I just picked up a Sony A6000 and am really enjoying it. I otherwise use a Nikon D7200.
I have a D7200 and couldn't be happier with it.
What would be a good lens for street photography for a Sony A6000?
Thank you for all the information and advice. I really appreciate it.
Is the Olympus TG-5 simple to operate?
I'm thinking along the lines of a Fujifilm FinePix XP130 Waterproof Digital Camera or Olympus TG-5 Waterproof Camera. I want to keep the price on the modest side.
I need a rugged (dust proof) point and shoot camera. Any suggestions?
Welcome. It's a great place to get really good information.
I want to thank everyone for the information. It's really been quite helpful.
I'm interested in buying a small entry level/intermediate level mirrorless camera for street photography and I need some suggestions. I would like to keep the cost around $500 to $800 if possible.
Thanks for the information, everyone.
How should I store my DSLR lenses? I live in Chicago where high humidity isn't really an issue.
I just got back from the Mara. I wasn't part of a photo tour and had a wonderful time. I shot some beautiful pictures. Now more to the point, I have a friend who travels Africa regularly on photo tours. He swears by Tusk Photo (tuskphoto.com). He says they are very reliable and the tours have really improved his work. His pictures are unbelievable.
