I have a D750 and use single point focus. 51 points means I can move that single point to 51 different positions.

I would love to have a sedan, but they are ridiculously low to the ground. Got tired of scraping the bottom of my car on parking curbs, driveways and dips.

On most of my cars the gas cap was on the driver's side. On my current car the gas cap is on the passenger side and it has made me realize how much nicer it is to have the gas cap on the left. When pulling up to the pump, it is harder to judger how far away the right side of the car is from the pump.

At my company I was part of a team that had to come in on January 1st and make sure the computers still worked. The only problem we found was our keycards didn't work. The reason? The software defaulted the expiration date for all of the cards to December 31, 1999 and no one thought to change it. Later, the woman updating the cards was using a date only a few years in the future. When I suggested she should use one further out she said "I'll be retired by then anyway."

Thanks for your input. I guess I haven't tried the Auto Adjustment since they improved it. I tried it on one photo and it worked great. I tried it on a photo that need more adjusting and it did't work so well. But if I can get it to work 75% of the time I will be happy. Going to download the free trial of Luminar tomorrow, but right now I'm leaning toward stinking with Lightroom.

After reading another thread of glowing reviews of Luminar on UHH, I am thinking of giving it a try. I have subscribed to Adobe’s Creative Cloud since May and use Lightroom Classic for photo organization and editing. (I haven’t really figured out how to use Photoshop.) I am very happy with Lightroom, but I wonder if there is something better out there.

My main problem with Lightroom is that while it has awesome photo editing capabilities, I spend a lot of time editing my photos. It appears that Luminar is much better at making auto adjustments.

My question to Luminar users is, what do you do in the way of photo organization and browsing sinceLuminar does not have this capability? They say it is coming in 2018, but they said it was coming in 2017 too. I already organize my photos into folders, but Lightroom allows me to tag my favorites and to put them into collections. What do you do since Luminar does not do those things?

What do you do about browsing through your photos? I’ve seen Fast Raw Viewer touted here, and I am thinking of using that, but I presume it will only show the photo before any post processing. If that is correct, how do you browse the finished photo?

Finally, what do you think about keeping Lightroom for the things Luminar doesn’t do? That seems like a lot of duplication since their capabilities overlap so much, but I could be convinced.

Edit: I am using a MacBook Pro right now and will probably buy a 27" iMac next year.

Rook is correct. If you want to change the aspect ratio of a picture without cropping, the only choice is to stretch the photo. The math is:

ShortSide times 10 divided by 8 equals LongSide

or

LongSide times 8 divided by 10 equals ShortSide.

I have a Nikon D750 and shoot in RAW. When sharing the files with others, via email, Air Drop, etc, I need to convert to JPEG and reduce the file to a reasonable size. What settings do you recommend for the conversion? Do you reduce the number of pixels, or reduce the quality? What do you consider to be a reasonable file size when sharing a picture?
