I recently purchased a Sony HX90 V for a travel camera. I wanted one with a view finder and GPS. I did a lot of research and selected this one. Great photos, pocket size, and zoom. I got it from Focus Camera, they had the best price. I think it is in your price range.
Same here in Gatlinburg, but it is always beautiful. Mountains are obstructed by clouds now!
I have been using the trial version of Affinity and am considering changing. They are great about responding to via email questions. At least they respond. Not so with LR I won’t use anything with the name Adobe, no service for anything with them.

It is still very green in the Smoky Mts. I think about another week the color should be better. Weather report says cool temps next week which help with the color.
Spring green is beautiful not to mention the spring flowers.
I am looking out the window at the Smoky Mountains now at about 8:30 A.M. and the color is beautiful ----Green. At about 3000ft, no color yet. A few trees are turning yellow, not much reds. Dog woods have turned. My guess about another week or two for full color. Lots of water photo ops, falls and mountain streams. Here it is beautiful no matter what season!

I recently ordered some black velvet from Amazion for a background. I plan to try it this winter with a macro lens. Hope you will get some good pics. Good luck.

We have a home in Gatlinburg and the photo op's are great. Cade's Cove with old pioneer buildings, church & cemetery, mountain streams etc. Roaring Fork Motor Nature trail has neat old houses beautiful in fall color. Also,of course the mountains.
The next two weeks should be the peak! Maybe a little later this year. Have fun!!
