LFingar--The combination of that beautiful blue sky with the bright colors on the Tug and ship make your photos stand out vividly. Just the kind of photos to brighten a cloudy morning. Thanks for posting.
Hi Frum, Do I detect a Navy man somewhere in there? My daughter lives in Pensacola and we are scheduled to go in July for their annual show to thank the city. Whether we still get to go has become problematic. We are fortunate that we get to see them every year here in Seattle.
Really nice shots Jules, The Black and White photos remind me of the movie "On the Beach" when the US Submarine comes into an empty San Francisco.
Very well done KT. All iconic but with a different perspective. My favorite is the Little Mermaid. I've never seen a picture of the surrounding area and you are correct in that most photos don't include that.
Really a nice shot Vonzip. It is wonderful that they both allowed you this nice pose.
Not for everyone, but I can definitely see that little truck all cleaned up with a new engine and a nice paint job. Maybe some fenders and big tires. It could have a second chance at life.
Great shots Paul, Your photos nudged my memory bank. I spent 3 years aboard the U.S.S. Sea Cat (SS399) based in Key West, Florida. The Sea Cat was on it's fifth war patrol when the war ended and was present at the Japanese surrender ceremony. Sadly, the Sea Cat was made into razor blades after decommissioning. There is truly so much history in these old boats that everyone of them should be saved. Paul Best
Wow! Downton Abby times ten. Nice shot.
Oops! sorry for the repeat.
Kalina, that is a truly gorgeous shot. You definitely were in the right place at the "Golden Hour" and you captured it perfectly. If I had taken that picture it would be hanging on my wall right now. Well done.
Hi Rich, As I was taking the photos the sun finally broke through the heavy overcast and I could see it was touching the tops of the tallest trees.
Thanks Christy for posting. Your tribute to her is as beautiful as she is.
I took these today after our 12 inch snow storm yesterday. We are forecast for 6 or more inches of snow tonight and into tomorrow morning. Very pretty but I like my snow in the mountains where it belongs. I'm sure that many of my fellow Hedgehogs have taken similar pictures but I just couldn't resist. I hope you enjoy them.
Really nice photo BigCed. Loved it in the download.
Hi Cle, Udderly fascinating.
