I'd check various reviews. Here is just one that mentions the lens you're working with:
https://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Tamron-TAP-in-Console.aspx

Also, if you haven't already, check out Steve Perry's info for fine tuning in general.
https://backcountrygallery.com/get-nikons-auto-af-fine-tune-system/

For me, the tap in console gives you more options to correct back/front focus issues at the various focal lengths.
Good Luck!

Have you tried using the Tamron tap in console? Not sure they always do a good job but it might be worth giving it a try. I used it on my Tamron 18-400 and seemed to help. But I only have one camera body so not concerned with switching! :)

I was getting these a lot.
I followed Tony Northrup's video for cleaning the sensor and worked great.

There are screen protectors for the TG-5

Agree! I did some research before a trip to Hawaii and picked up the TG-6. Unfortunately, due to some heavy rains the swimming was not great. But did get to try it out in our pool with the grandkids.
Also has variety of video modes.

I've been using Photolab 3 from DxO for the RAW (non-destructive) output 16 bit tiff and then use Affinity Photo to finish. DxO also has the Nik Collection (originally from Google) and they plugin to Affinity as well.

Regarding Affinity's destructive RAW edit...
I now do raw edits with DxO Photolab 3 (uses sidecar file)... output a 16 bit TIFF and then do PS type cleanup in Affinity Photo. Hoping AP gets the non-destructive edit ability sometime in the future.

good images; amazing place. we just returned from a week there before things went "south". it's almost that the photos don't do the actual view justice in my opinion.

Agree! Really hard to capture it. We just got back Friday after 10 days there. If it hadn't gone south, we were hoping to get "stuck" there instead of coming back to CA where it's gone way south!!

Just curious... did you find any Nikon's that would fit your specs? I'll scan all the pages of this thread but didn't see any mention at first glance... if any input on Nikon, pass it along!

(ok... did find recommends for Nikon A1000 and Nikon 1 J5. Will do my research! :)
