In December 2017 my wife and I did a photographers workshop to Antarctica. Because the ship was small, 77 passengers, we could all go ashore together, as no more than 100 are allowed on shore. Since it was summer in the Southern Hemisphere, it was warmer (30F) in Antarctica than it was in Tucson (29F). Since we bought heavyweight winter gear expecting serious cold we roasted!
