If a few of the ones facing Earth start blowing off material it could definitely result in Auroras. Even a glancing blow can give rise to an Aurora.

Realizing that there would be many photographs of the historic total eclipse, I wanted to photograph the people who were watching the eclipse. Here are some of my images from the event. I use two, NIKON Z9, with a 24-70 2.8 S and 70-200mm 2.8 S, ISO 100, various F stops.

…fantastic…!

It snowed friday night. For the first time I didn't go out to photograph the melt. I did go out in the late afternoon to Watson Lake ... again. Although on the way home I saw a Falcon 9 launched from Vandenberg. All shots were taken yesterday except the Snow fall shot which was taken Friday evening the day before.

…these are all excellent images…!

The other morning I was able to catch a few strikes before the deluge started.
It was dark enough and the lightning was plentiful so I was able to open the shutter for several seconds and catch whatever strikes happened along.
These are the best of about twenty shots.
Bulb, mirror up.

…these are awesome…amazingly wonderful images…!
