Jefferson & Madison did not want a strong center government. Bill of Rights Institute sound like a front for the KKK. John Becker, someone from the backwoods of Ohio, only known in his hometown. Big deal.

LWW: I read the Federalist Papers in college, took two courses Part 1 & Part 2. My father was a lawyer and I work in the Bronx's DA Office for 11 years. So I don't need some one like you telling me to read COTUS. Also Alexander Hamilton & John Jay were for strong center government. Who do you think wrote most of the Federalist Papers? Hamilton. What this "American republic died at the hands of Lincoln"?

Now New York City has large pool of people who are train in any kind of job, you name it you will find them. So what is the reason for outside people moving in?

It was on the news, but was pass over. NYC is a very heavy union city. Amazon as going to use nonunion people. That did not set well with the powers to be in NYC.

Locomotives look like a 2-8-4. Is it? That pictures show a real part of America's History. I would have like to get pictures of that train. If I had that caboose, I would move in to it. Sell off the house. I remember the inside of a caboose like that, wood on the inside was unreal.

Jefferson Davis wrote that the reason The South lose the war was because of states rights, South did not have a strong centralized government. Davis could not move troops from one place to another like Lincoln could. Davis had to deal with a state to get it's troops to move to another state. If that state said no, there was none Davis could do about it. Lee was only commamed of the Army of North Virginia not the whole South, he would get that in the last week of the war. Grant on the other hand was C in C of all the armies of the North.

Did Capa use a Leica camera ? In Spain and Normandy, are some question he did not use a Leica. One story I read was that the cost of a Leica was too costly for him to have. When he was kill one of the cameras he had Contax II or III.

As a guide, remember this is retail. A consumer would get half to a third of this.

I kept my old cameras and lenses and have them in a display case.

I just saw a Pentax K 1000 without lens up for sale for $100.00 . Who own it?

You really need to read a book on the South and realize that it was not just we southerners who depended on slavery as a means of economic existence. Businessmen/factory owners above the Mason Dixon line depended as much on the cotton as did the South. The division between the stance taken between the states did not start in 1861 it had been going on since the 1600's. Obsessive export taxes on the produces produced in the South was the straw that broke the uneasy peace.
If the North was so set on freeing the slaves, they sure should have bought them. That process would have been 10x cheaper on the country than the cost of the War and that does not begin to touch the cost of the 100's of thousands of deaths of America's finest youth.
It was truly states right that caused the War. Slavery was only a subset to that fact.
You really need to read a book on the South and re... (show quote)

It end 150 years ago and you Southerners still hold on to the idea it was all about states rights. What was states rights any way?

What cameras do you have? Condition has a big impact on the sale of cameras,( That goes for anything put up for sale.) like 30% of the price is condition. Do the cameras still work ok, without any problems. Do the cameras take 35mm or 120mm film? If not, very hard sell.

"So many gave their lives over the issue of state rights." It time we stop gloried "state rights" it was a code word for slave and way of life base on it. One of Lincoln's war aims was to total destroy that way of life. Which war are you writing about, die in vain ? Civil War no, Viet Nam yes.
