Why wait 30 days?
I didn't want to seem to harsh.
The next day works for me.

The MTA is just a bottomless pit. People coming to the marathon via the other bridges and mass transit will more than make up for the Verrazzano being closed for a few hours. Perhaps if they went after fare and toll beaters they could shrink their deficit. But, alas, those crimes are not prosecuted in New York.
Toll cheaters should have their vehicle confiscated on the spot and put in storage for 30 days.
They can retrieve their vehicle after 30 days by paying a $150 a day storage fee.
They would have only seven days to retrieve there vehicles after those 30 days before the vehicle is put into a shredder.
Here are a few si-fi movies that I have.
Kronos 1957
The Giant Gila Monster 1959
Them 1954
Day of the Triffids 1951
The Giant Behemoth 1959
Tarantula 1955
the deadly mantis (1957)
The Human Centerpede 1, 2, 3

You know nothing of atheists.
Atheists accept personal responsibility for their own actions and don't need threats from the sky God to make them moral and kind humans.
I cannot even estimate how many criminals I've seen with tattoos of Jesus or crosses or those wearing gold chains with religious icons.
Religion does not equate to morality
I think atheists scare them.
How can we be so secure in ourselves to not need someone in a white dress watching over us as we under go surgery.

No. The one where he talks about being a "cultural Christian." However, the quote you made is interesting. Dawkins seems to find morality despite being atheist. Like he recently said, he's a "cultrual Christian." I've seen enough on the ID channel to realize that without God a lot of people will do what they will, including robbery, rape and murder. It's why our prisons are full and why crime is such a problem that the Dems are putting criminals back out on the street with no bail. Crime had become socially understandable because "there is no God."

Do I need to go on?
Well, well, well.
I'm 71 but have no cell phone either.
Still have a landline.
Because I don't have a cell phone, I lost use of PayPal a while back.
A few companies have demanded their customer's cell phone number to use their services.
Then they wised up.

LOL Yea right!
He spent some time looking for other sources of what FOX news says he wouldn't be able to post his silly 'we we' mantra.

I could never understand the idea behind spring cleaning. Do people really wait till spring to clean their houses? I "maintain," and I do the occasional "deep cleaning" occasionally.
A friend starts upstairs with a leaf blower. If something isn't tied down, it gets blown outside.
I've been using an electric leaf blower for years and years.
In conjunction with a vacuum cleaner.
This way I can blow the dust and dirt from under & behind the frig.
Stove, China cabinet.
Under the couch, the dust from inside the TV, DVD player, cable box.
Inside closets, and on and on.
The first time you do it, there will be lots of dust in the air.
That is what the vacuum is for. Vacuuming up all that dust.
The more you do it this smaller the dust cloud will be.
This way you will have a much cleaner home.
You will see dust you never knew resided in your home.
I started doing this with a corded leaf blower.
I used a extension cord just for inside use so as to not drag a dirty wire around the house.
Battery powered solved that problem.

I have about 10 drives that I won't be using any more. I guess I can take them apart. I think if I only open the cover the disk would still spin when connected to power.
I sure would.
Back in the days of, IIRC MFM and RLL drives I would open the drive to free up a non-spinning platter.
The lubricant would sometimes hold the plater to the head.
Then the customer could backup their data and then I would replace the drive.
