Sunday NCSU faced off against #10 Georgia Tech. I will confess looking at Tech warm up and even during the sets, I thought State was going to get blown away. But it was only the second set that was rough. Very good game.

Shot with a Nikon Z9 paired with a 70-200 f2.8 S lens. Shutter at 1/2000th, wide open with ISO right around 5000.

Here are some of my favorites, but if you so desire you may see all at my website:

Great set Rick the lighting looks good. I noticed a girl sitting on the floor with a camera and all I could think of was if I did that the medical team would have to be called to get me up again.

I agree with the others Santa on the down marker is my favorite. As for the rest you just keep knocking them out of the park.

It's hard enough shooting under less than ideal lighting and then you shoot yourself in the foot. I have been there myself. Try processing in B & W I'm still kicking myself for some of my mistakes over the years.

A fork was finally stuck in my grandsons season A brutal 1 - 8. He survived until the second half of the last game when the doctor took away his helmet. He's ok a little sore.

On my side I learned A lot about shooting at night under not so good lighting as I stated in some of my previous posts. Thank you to all that chimed in with suggestions on the techniques for better results.

Thank you for looking any and all comments are welcome as I am always looking to improve.

All shot with A D850, 400mm, F 2.8, SS 1000th, Auto ISO & WB

It's hard to shoot both sports because of the lighting or lack of quality lighting. You have done well on both keep practicing.

I agree with Jules. Hockey is not easy to shoot.
