It was not my question. I simply submitted 3 shots based on the parameters outlined in the OP's original post.

If I set my camera to manual mode and never changed anything in the triangle, but took 3 shots virtually at the same time while sitting on a tripod. 1 set at spot metering, 1 set at center weighed metering, and 1 set for the average weighted metering, regardless of the metering would the photo be identical, RGB, Dynamic Range, etc?

Results from my camera. All shots 1/100, f/8, iso 100.

An elderly man goes into a brothel and tells the madam he would like a young girl for the night. Surprised, she looks at the ancient man and asks how old he is.

'I'm 90 years old,' he says.

'90?' replies the woman. 'Don't you realize you've had it?'

'Oh, sorry,' says the old man. 'How much do I owe you?'

This alone is worth the Entrance Money it made me laugh

I have a brothel trip story. A few years ago, I was on a job in Sparks, NV. I was told a good place for lunch was the restaurant/bar at Mustang Ranch, which was just a few miles from the job site. While there, I texted my wife saying I was at Mustang Ranch having lunch. Her response was "You f***er!", to which I replied "No, I just had a hamburger."

The Sensomat and Sensorex use the same battery, so I went ahead and purchased it. Thanks again for your reply.

An old friend! That was my first good SLR. A bad tripod leg sent it crashing to the floor. I replaced it with a Sensorex II and sold it years later. I recently bought one on ebay, just to have one again. I paid $26 for it, so you could buy an entire camera to get that cover.

I don't see this camera getting many bids.

So do you plan on actually using the camera? Does it have a battery cover? Get my drift???

Actually, after determining that the Sensomat and Sensorex take the same battery, I purchased the cover on ebay via the link provided by PixelStan77 in his reply above, so hopefully I'm good to go. I also found an original instruction manual for $5.95/free shipping. Like you said, good old ebay!

That's for the Sensomat. Mine is a Sensorex. But it may be the same part. Thanks.

I have acquired an old Miranda Sensorex camera. It is in excellent condition, and I would like to experiment with it, but it is missing the battery cover. A web search has so far been unsuccessful, so I thought I'd see if anyone here knows where I might find one. It screws into the battery compartment right below the film rewind knob. Thanks.

Jerry,
I think this will answer your question.

I use the blue broccoli bands. They work great. I just go to the store and buy some broccoli when I need one. I even eat the broccoli.

Always like reading about Adams. Thx for the post but where is the rest of the article?

The rest of the article was the Hernandez photo, which I didn't copy. Source was Life Library of Photography; The Camera (Time/Life books), Chapter 6, "On Taking Better Photos", p. 211. The chapter was just a short synopsis on the personal styles of ten photographers. Thanks for looking.

I was going thru some old books to donate to the local library and found this. Thought it might be interesting to some of the hogs out there.

While cleaning my garage today, I had placed a pan of oil near a bush with purple flowers, and was struck by the reflections. The top pic is the whole pan, and the rest are crops.
