I am out of ideas of what to shoot, that is why I havent been on for awhile. If any of you might have any Ideas please share. Thanks

oh my,,the dreaded "what now"... dear--pick a scene,,any scene, as long as you really like it.. mark where to shoot the pic from.the return at an hour later[or earlier] each day, take the same shot..this incudes, stormy/cloudy/sunny/foggy/hot/cold days..sunrises/sunsets,again-same spot..you will find the different lighting/time of year, will give you a great understanding of your scene[maybe an award winng pic even].
you will understand what sunrises/sets have the best skylines as the sun moves north and south.
plus--you can't have taken all, all, the pics of ariz.[been there],because there are at least 1.5 million pics possible.--joe

tainkc A crop where the lady is walking into the frame would still give a perspective.[/quote wrote:
Perhaps you are right. Maybe I am too engrossed in the enormity of what is being viewed.
Too me, it would be the balloons because that is what I was actually shooting. I was fortunate enough to have this lady walk by to give it some sense of perspective. I wonder if, in this case it could go either way?

yes to above..but only could be done with a "do over"for my critique, and when the pic taken..I would have raised the camera
in place of "cropping grass"[effectively doing that].. also raising the view would have shown a bit more blue sky[contast]and curvature of the balloon[defeeting sense of wall]..the young lady gives beautiful perspective to size[and entire scene..---joe
forgot,,also would have shifted camera slightly to left so young lady would be walking towards center..[only slightly,so would still have a bit of right baloon in pic..

That being out of the way, I think your second photo is more dramatic than the first one.[/quote]

first,,,please don't think I was attacking anyone.. just a comment.
second,,thank you for the nice comment.
continuation,,my most likely[quickest/easyest] places for pics of sunrises/sets are close, with little driving to get there.and no walking/climbing[difficult at this time],,..thanks again for comment.--joe

How about the oasis????

Follow the camels. It's on the map of the Park.

funniest part--if you know our history,,,there probably have been camels visiting there...way back when, the army used camels[testing] in the southwest as pack animals.. didn't work as they hoped and many went free,to roam until died or killed.
