The only filter I leave on all the time is a good UV. I'm more concerned about your lens selection, the 28-300 is a good lens but it has its limitations. If you plan on using a flash at all, I would suggest a 24-120 or 70-200 Because beyond 200mm you'll find that either your camera, flash or both will not fire when using a flash with the 28-300
I've been using B&H for many years now, their website is easy to navigate and their selection is second to none.
Excuse my typo $540 is a phenomenal price

I feel your pain I purchased a refurbished nikon 810. I received a beautiful 810 for $1200 dollars less than the current selling price but the battery cover looked like it had been run over by a truck I too was asked to send
camera back at that point I decided to cut my losses. I immediately login to my favorite photography supplier B&H $29 one day delivery and my camera never left my possession. My point is $40 is a phenomenal price for cracked body cut your losses
I personally make a habit of storing all my photos on an external hard drive and then I format my card to which ever camera I'm using at that particular moment it's always a good idea to format cards every time you use them so as to remove any corrupted files that might be stored on the card
Joe I also understand the expense part ,but I find it a little odd that you're worried about the expense of the flash when you have close to $4000 in camera bodies not to mention the lenses you've purchased.I prefer the nikon sb910 but the nissin Di700a & Di866 Mark II are decent flashes for about half the price
Scam website low price to lure you in then they try to up sell you a bunch of garbage equipment
I would recommend saving pictures to a external hard drive but if you choose to keep your photos on a card retire the card and purchase a new one they are not that expensive compared to what we spend on equipment
