No. 6 Great job with the composite and matching of the colors.
Thanks Deer ... I initially wasn't going to do anything because It was such a vast space that I wasn't inspired. Then yesterday, I was talking with my brother out in LA and his office was close to one of the major fires. Then the light bulb went off.
I don't do these to win, I do them to see if I can really make something totally different or unexpected. Most folks, I think, treat these more like an exercise in who can color correct the best. I want to see if I can inspire others to expand their creativity, you know, think outside the box.
BTW, I think you did a great job with the balloons and I'll be voting for you. ;-)

I guess my vote is a NO vote. I would say #3, but I don't care for the change in tone. #4 would be OK, but I think it's cropped a bit too much and looks really grainy.
So you stopped by just to say NO ... Hmm ...
So here's my VIEW ... I call it, "Welcome to Southern California in Summer".

On January 1, I decided that I would attempt project 365 where you take at least one photo every day for a year. The problem is that, while I shoot most days, I don't shoot every day. So, on those days where I would normally just not shoot, I still have to come up with some image. If the weather is lousy, that means something inside, which can be a challenge. Today I came up with this photo. Do you like it? Do you think that it fits the bill for "minimalist"? Does it strike you as an image that was created just because the photographer needed a shot? BTW, it looks better in download because you can see the stroke. Thanks
Erich

However you categorize it, I think it’s a really amazing looking abstract, fine art photo. Well done!
Thanks all for the wonderful comments. I thought everyone did a great job! I will say, when I first saw the archiecture in the photo, all I could think of was spaceships and aliens.
I shot this fountain last year from inside the world-famous Opryland Hotel here in Nashville, TN. It is a truly fabulous hotel where I have done a great deal of music photography over the years. I shot a series of photos throughout the Delta Atrium area while killing time waiting on a client.
You can download the photo to your computer and edit it any way you want. Adjustments, black and white conversions, color shifts, composites. All of these have been used in the past. So be imaginative and have fun. When you have finished your edit, you can post it in this thread. On Thursday at 9pm voting will begin. No edits will be accepted after that point.
Oh come on -- I know this is what everyone was first thinking when they saw this photo! It's probably what the architect was thinking, too.
Cool tractor, Jim. Here's my "View" ...

So glad you let us see Ali with her gift!
No problem ... It was a fun day. I also had some of my original art for my granddaughter and my mom.

Yep, kinda brings it all full circle, doesn't it. .
Ali loved it! That's her on the right and my stepdaughter Amanda on the left.
