Hey group, I am looking to purchase a new carbon-fiber tripod. Do any of you know anything about INNOREL tripods.

Ron,

I purchased an Innorel RT-90C from Amazon about a year ago. It's a Fantastic Tripod even at twice the price. Because it has a 75mm bowl, I was able to also purchase a center column for it (actually from a LeoFoto brand, now Innorel sells their own) that I can use if needed. I've dragged this tripod thru hell and back and it works like the day I bought it. I will tell you this though; its a beast of a tripod and its not particularity light. It has some heft to it. If your intent is to use it as a travel tripod you might look at a different model. This handles my D810 with a 150-600mm Tamron G2 lens on a Nest Gimble effortlessly. Best $300.00 I ever spent. (and I'm not affiliated with Innorel in any way)

Do you have a link for the Godox V1 manual?

The godox manuals are at www.godox.com (under the download area, scroll way to the bottom). I don't know if you're looking for Nikon, Canon, Fuji or other, so I cant post a direct link.

I have ordered a Nikon Z7II and trying to decide the best speed light to purchase. I am looking at the high end Nikon but I have had great success with Godox in the past. Another photographer thought that Godox was better than Nikon. I noticed that Godox is now making speed lights that are circular.
I need some opinions or facts on what is the best and most versatile speed light to complement my Nikon Z7II. I have also read mixed reviews on the circular vs rectangular speed lights. I do shoot 2 to 5 FPS frequently when working.
Thanks for whatever “light” you can shed/recommend on this subject. I really respect the opinions I have received in the past.

I wouldn't say Godox is "Better" than Nikon. But the Godox system has a lot of features the Nikon does not. The build quality is nearly comparable to Nikon. I know this because I have 4 different Godox speedlights / strobes, and I wouldn't trade them for Nikon units ever. Godox Prices are more affordable than a Nikon branded speedlight too.

Ultimately its your choice, and everyone has a different opinion, but the "bang for the buck" with Godox cant be beat. (imho)

I bought a used Nikon d7100, I googled how to set it back to factory defaults but I still have options that are not available for example the "Lock mirror up for cleaning" is not an option, it's dim and cannot be selected. How can I reset this? I have several dust spots that shows on my pictures.
Thank you

The most obvious is: ensure your battery is FULY charged. It wont lock the mirror up if its not.

Gary,
Thank you for this info. $79!?!?! Wow. I am liking Godox AD200 Pro flashes with the MagMod set up.
RL

I actually have a pair of AD200's. I Love them. I also have the ad600pro. The whole Godox line is affordable and offers a lot of versatility other flashes don't at their respective price points. Are there better flashes out there, sure...... but not at that price point. The X2 trigger is awesome as well.

I don't think you can go wrong with the Light Panel, and if you have a compatible cell phone, you can use your studio light set-up with your cell phone (although I dont know why) lol

Anyhow, its an option to consider

I am interested in purchasing either the Lume Cube Panel or the Litra Pro or Studio. Does anyone have any experience with these? My use would be as a flash and lighting for Nikon D5, D850 and Z7.
Wide variation in price to to this right with all accessories.
Many thanks
RL

Robert,

I Have no experience with Lume Cube or Litra Pro, but recently I purchased this: https://www.amazon.com/Godox-LF308BI-triggering-Brightness-Adjustment/dp/B081NF1MVB/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=lf308&qid=1606153369&sr=8-1
I cant say its perfect, but its interesting that its a constant adjustable LED Light, as well as a Flash. The really NICE thing is it works with the Godox Radio System that Im heavily invested in.

My only nit-pick is it could be more powerful. 18w isn't a Huge light source.

Tom,

Stay away from that field, never go there again. That hobby is as addicting as photography, and arguably more expensive.

Thank you to all of you for the great information and the support !!
Not able to do the set up. I am going to order another trigger. I have done everything not successful. Happy Saturday !!

I hope its actually the trigger (transmitter), and not the receiver in the speedlite. Its no fun when equipment breaks. The good news is you can always return the trigger if its not that.

Hi Gary, both are in the same channel. I used Slave for the trigger and master when mounting the flash on the camera. Let google the wireless ID. Not familiar with it.

Thank so much !!!

Basically in addition to the channel, you can set a wireless ID from 1-99 I believe. If you set the wireless ID on one unit and not the other, they wont talk. This is the only thing I can think of short of something being broke.

I would like to know if you can help me. I have a Sony 7ii with a Godox TT 350 and a X pro trigger. The flash is working fine on the camera, but the trigger is not working with the flash. Is not firing. I reset it and changed the batteries. Not sure what else to do. It was working fine before.

Thanks for all your help.

Ernesto

Other than double checking that you're on the same channel, you didn't possible set a wireless ID on your Speedlight did you? I'm betting you're in the wrong mode on the speedlight (Slave vs Master) or you have a wireless ID set on one and not the other.

Thanks, Magaliaman, for the comment.
What attracted me to this story was an intrusion of a phone call into some romantic activity and the couple's reaction. Maybe I should have come up with a better title.

I caught that as well. Its almost like she's "Shushing" him (if that's a word)

Hi Gary - See edited post

Anything else included? Like OEM Strap, Chargers, Box etc? I also assume there's an EN-El 15 battery IN the camera as well?
