No one mentioned free software. Darktable for raw editing and GIMP for everything else. Just download it.

I use youtubetv (not youtube). It started at $45/mo, then $50, now $65. They added extra channels, none I care about. The main advantage is it includes built in DVR capability. Just select a program and add it to the library. Watch that program at your leisure & fast forward thru ads. It will record each episode of that show automatically.

We bought our 3rd Prius in December. The first was in 06 and we traded it in after 175K miles. The second was a '14 and we traded it in for the new one with with about 120K miles on it. This one is a Prius Prime (plug in model). The old ones got about 50 mpg. This one runs for the first 28 miles on all electric, then as hybrid. We get about 110 mpg overall, the first 28 - 30 are just electric. Then it automatically switches to gas. I think our first car had a water pump failure. Other than that everything works. NO BATTERY FAILURES. After 28 - 30 miles we are in hybrid mode and get about 60 mpg until the next charge. We have not used charging stations, just a 220v outlet at home. currently we have about 9000 miles on this car.

I second the Brother recommendation. I am using my second Brother this one is an HL-L2395DW. It also scans. I don't print photos with it but it is quick and cheap. Also very fast. Toner is also much cheaper than ink. Less than $100.

A good alternative to the Tesla is the Prius Prime. We have had one for almost a year. It will run for 30 miles on a charge. After that it will continue to run on gas. After almost a year our mileage is about 111 mpg. We can charge it in about 2 1/2 hours for another free 30 miles. After that we can run as long as we wish on gas at about 70 mpg. Tesla can't do that. We usually drive locally (about 30 - 40 miles max per trip) and buy gas every 2 months or so.

I will recommend linuxmint, the cinnamon edition, an offshoot of ubuntu. It is probably the easiest to use & I have it on 5 different computers. https://linuxmint.com

I have included a link showing how simple it is to manage disks in linux. This includes flash drives which many of us use. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cOL85Zky93U (Click skip ads) There is no need to use the command line, everything is available from the menu. Want to format or check drive temp, or change partitions on a drive? https://thefrugalcomputerguy.com/ has very easily understood information on linux and on libreoffice (a free replacement for MS Office). Just a little bit of what is available to those not happy with MS. If you like your Windows you can keep your Windows.

A big advantage to a UPS is it protects the computer from writing faulty data to memory during a power fluctuation. If you are using it at the time you can shut it down safely before this happens. The computer can be shut down when you want it to be shut down. As a bio-med engineer, I know how important that is. All our hospital equipment computers were protected by a UPS.

I have 3 desktops running 24/7 on UPS units and a UPS for the router. They have been running for years. I have APC units and replace the batteries when they become weak, usually about $35 each. I have never lost a file due to corruption. They are 500 VA to 1000 VA each. Batteries are easily available online and at my local electronics store.

I have been privileged to get rides in a PT-17 and a PT-26. The PT-17 is a biplane, the PT-26 is a WWII trainer. Both were exciting. For Linux users there is a flight simulator called Flight Gear available.
