This is great that you are raising these Monarchs! Are you tagging them as well? Citizen scientists provide a lot of data to further help the Monarchs. Check out

https://monarchwatch.org/tagging/

There are YouTube videos to watch. I just tagged my 1st Monarch 2 days ago. It's very easy.
Great picture!

So sorry for your loss. We lost our beautiful Golden Girl 9 years ago. I miss her so much.

It doesn't even look comfortable. More like pedaling a "crotch rocket".

Florida has done an awesome job in making their wastewater treatment plants into beautiful sanctuaries for many birds & other wildlife.

Check out Wakodahatchee & Green Cay Preserves in Delray Beach:

Another place is Peaceful Waters Sanctuary in Wellington:

I had to back off my tele to get the pics because the birds were so close to the boardwalks!

Have a great trip[!

A weed is a plant growing where YOU do not want it. God put his plants where he wanted them, thus, there are no weeds.

Beautiful photo.

Think of all the creatures that will feed on it. Hummers, butterflies & bees to the flower. Numerous birds & animals to the seeds. And, yes some seed will actually start the process all over next year.

Its a wonderful thing!

Beautiful shots. Too bad our National Park Service has started their slaughter of these magnificent animals to appease the ranchers surrounding Yellowstone NP.
This is but 1 of many articles....

Definately not a Ring-billed. Maybe a Kelp Gull that does show up in the NE corner of CO according to my guide.

Most of what was done was with the adjustment brush on the mountains. Reduced saturation, added contrast/clarity and reduced exposure. Did some other minor tweaks to the sky to give it some balance...

I'm an Matt K. fan of ON1 fame and initially always establish a good white point and a good black point so I know I'm getting the broadest dynamic range possible in each image...

I should add that I think I'd brighten my image up just a tad if getting a do-over....

So, am I correct in assuming this was Photoshop?

Is that a White Faced Ibis or a Glossy Ibis?

To me, de-hazing means getting rid of the blue cast which haze creates so this doesn't do it for me. The following gets more to the de-hazing effect I think, at least from my viewpoint...

So, mrjcall, how did you get this dehazed? I personally like yours the best as I think it is the most realistic version. Yup, I am a realist.
