Nice.
Is that a beak extension or something in its beak?
Nice. Looks like a good hors d'oeuvre for the eagle, a bad day for the fish..
Frustrated again this year in fulfilling my desire to revisit fall color show in my home state of northwest Arkansas, I had a couple of free hours this afternoon, 11/19/2020, which I used to make a quick visit to Raven Lake at Huntsville State Park, north of Houston, Texas.
Passing on FB Marketplace Houston listing.

Lovely it is.
Confirms a personal life proverb of mine, "If you don't stop and take the picture, when you get home you won't have it". I unfortunately experientially learned this after driving about 500 miles from my home in Houston Texas to the Boston Mountains of northwest Arkansas, to see and photograph as many colorful fall leaves as possible in a 3 day weekend. I had grown up seeing the fall colours every year. On this trip while driving on a sunny day on a long smooth section of a straight dirt road on the flat bottom of a valley, through a patch of uniformly separated small trees, there was what I remember as a golden tunnel through the forest. The road ran south; late afternoon sun cast the shadows of the trees parallel across the road. I almost stopped for a picture, but I was rushing to get to the top of White Rock Mountain before sunset.
When I received the prints back from the film processor I had pictures from the top of the mountain, but only memories of the "lovely" forest scene.
Thanks for stopping.

YES!!!
Nice. I have barely began to think of fall colors.
Nice. Never seen that flower before.
An earlier post stated author of following is disputed. I heard it was Mark Twain who said there are 3 types of lies: Lies, Damn Lies, and Statistics. I took 21 hours of statistics in college; I consider myself a virtually ruined target for advertising.

My worst High School subject, but second most useful through life. 40 average, but given a D for good behavior. (Math of course was most useful.)
Larry, I would like to buy. Thanks, David B

Are you saying the same thing I did but with three times as many words? 🤗 ðŸ¤
I Comment:
I think he is, however, based on my OCD count, he used exactly 4 times the the number of words; 48 versus 12. I liked both versions.

Amazing animal; good pictures, Thanks.
Phenomenal. Looking at this picture, as a statistician, the probability that random changes, etc, would end up with such a detailed reproducing living being is near infinitely low, even considering billions of years of trying. And this is one of many. I like your picture. The eyes are amazing. Thank You.
