wide angle panorama

Last week there was a post for help with doing a panorama with a wide angle. This one, taken hand held with an 18-55 EF lens at 18 mm, has minimal PP in LR and is comprised of 8 vertical shots of the land with proper exposure, 1/80 f5.6 and 100 ISO, 2 rows of sky (repeated with different exposure) 1 pass of 7 vertical shots, 1/1000 f5.6 100 ISO and the second pass of 9 vertical shots, 1/640 f5.6 and 100 ISO. Each pass, 1st shot, was processed and synced with the remaining shots in the pass, then these 25 shots were merged as panorama in LR using the fill empty space and the final cropped. A little more fine tuning of the processing and I came up with this shot of the town of Bancroft Ontario Canada on an absolutely gorgeous Sunday afternoon. Nothing fancy about it just a little attention to detail and some patience to wait for the dark cloud to move to the right. Comments welcome.

Nice. I have barely began to think of fall colors.

Thinking it through and composing it the way you did resulted in a great image. Congratulations. There was not a lot of red along route 60 for the 30km I drove this weekend, but I have yet to finish processing the shots I got in Algonquin Park. Hope to post some soon. Stay well and keep up the great work.
