Thank you all for your input. As dad as eyes go. I do not see it as being that close to Afghan girl except there is scarf and bright eyes. Most flowers have been done as close ups I have seen gears and animals close up many times also. It seems to be a real toss up as to which two to pick. Thank you all

For those who might want to know the results. I entered the golden window and the purple door. The purple door got second place. The golden window was not in the top 4

I did crank the stain glass window up already it was a really cloudy day so very dull to begin with. I am afraid the architecture around window is more dominate.
The competition is April 19th, but entries have to be in on 14th Good luck in your competition.

For all of you that might be interested the Golden window has been cropped a lot from the original. I am afraid to crop more or it will become just a lit window
with no character or story to go with it, plus might ruin composition. There was not a just a little saturation added. the photo was taken in a basement, the light
comes from another room in the basement. It is an 8 sec exposure, I am guessing that gave it more interesting light. adding an attachment of original before crop
you will notice object in widow removed also to not distract.

Golden window was taken in the basement of an historical home in KY. I had to get permission to take the photo. The feed store window is in Winchester KY
