There is little that hasn't been done before, but you did these excellent. Personally I prefer the girl's and cat's eyes.

These are all outstanding. The perspectives and compositions are excellent and the exposure is perfect. Very well done!

Nice pics, BRgirl. I particularly like the Magnolia. It's well done. The one titled "Eyes" I like but would not enter it. It looks like you are trying to copy the Afghan Girl by McCurry.
Just my thoughts.

And I like the yellow iris, and gears. I love the eyes, but as others have said.........everyone has seen that one. But all are good. You should go with your gut instinct. Others do not have your vision.

Gears and succulent have my vote. Both are well done (as they all are) but are different enough to stand out in a competition.

Add my vote to not include "Afghan Girl" look-alike.
The tilt of the cat composition and the details of the fur get me to stop and look, but the gears are the most unique IMO (or we just don't see that subject often on UHH; maybe that's the reason
). The light and depth of field are particularly effective IMO.
