Do you still have this? Do you have the battery cover for the SB800 use without the 5th battery? If so, I'm interested and can use PayPal to pay.

I just sent you $75.00. Not clear if the SB800 was sold to me. Please clarify; and if not, return the funds to PayPal. Thank you and please advise.

Confused by all the notes. If you still have the SB800, I will send the $75 to your PayPal account and give you my shipping address. Please advise.

Might someone respond to my question about using auto-iso with a f2 button exposure lock pressed but not held. Does the exposure stay locked or does auto-iso overide the lock when the spot focus/exposure point is moved when reframing the shot? I've played with this (yes I'm shooting M) and can not tell if the exposure changes

All the advice regarding BBF and reassigning the exposure lock to f2 button is right on. But allow me to complicate the issue one step more...I shoot stage (mostly ballet) and because lighting varies from scene to scene, I also use Auto Iso. Question is wil the f2 exposure lock setting hold when recomposing; the scene lighting has not changed but the spot focus area has changed due to recomposing the shot?

Agree that it is hard to find. A not with my camera box said to update. My camera had version 1.00.

But I downloaded it and now am having a problem getting it to install.

Thanks for the info. I'll update the firmware and hope for the best. The info that all would be reset came from on line tech support (twice), so I hope they are incorrect.

BTW Gary Fong and two other advisers have different ways of setting up back button focus. Anyone here have a favorite you can advise?

Has anyone found a written description of the options and reasoning for all the menu settings? I think I have this figured out; BUT now I find that if I update my Firmware from 1.00 to 2.00, ALL my setting will return to default. And, no, these can't be saved in M 1 or 2 or on a SD card, per Sony tech. Poor design.

So I can only hope someone has these options in a spreadsheet where I can record my time consuming settings so I can return them after the firmware update. (Or not update???)

Waddaya think?

Might the water below the ice be giving slight movement to the crystals over the 6 second exposure? But my guess is a combination of diffraction at the very small aperture and slight overexposure of the ice crystals which burned to some detail. Suggest using a ND filter next time.

Call my friend Bobbie Goodrich in Santa Fe. She's a real photographic artist and arranges a great Camargue workshop.

Check out her web site for images and schedule. I know one is coming up in 2015.

Those of us with Seconic and TT5/AC3's understand the question. A complex mix. But I have learned that you have to tell the receiving TT5's (and other receiving PW's) who is in control of the flash power---either the Seconik OR the PW/AC3 on the camera. There is a way to set this in the PW utility.

Took me a long time of going nuts to figure this out...and I have to review it periodically because it is so complex it is easy to forget. But once set up right, it is a pleasure to use the two options.
