Thanks to all. Much appreciated. This was the first trip I had and used square ND filters. What a difference they made! My family has visited Estes and RMNP many times, and last fall's trip was the best as far as the way the park looked. We were amazed at the many elk and the beauty of the Aspens. September is a good time to visit.

Beautiful series, I was there some years back and saw nothing but smoke from forest fires.

Prices Reduced

List and description of what I have for sale and pictures of each item below. All lenses come with front and rear caps. I can accept Paypal and checks for payment. Shipping and handling $12 on each item unless multiple items purchased by same buyer. Insurance at the option and expense of buyer. I will ship promptly upon payment. Please message me if you have questions or wish to see more images. All below have been lightly used, kept in a smoke free home:

1. Nikon D7000 APS-C Camera, shutter count 7810, only problem with camera is the yellow battery holder (not the battery door) does not work. Closing the battery door secures the battery in place and there is no problem. The camera has one battery, a battery charger, one 8GB sandisk card, almost no signs of wear, and no scratches on the back or top screens. $275.
2. Nikon SB-800 Speedlight. Comes with extra battery holder so the speedlight holds five batteries. Also comes with diffuser and a stand (stand not a Nikon stand) and bag shown. Works great. $200.
3. Nikkor AF-S 50mm f/1.8 G. Lens has no scratches, fungus, for Nikon. Works on full frame and crop frame cameras. Refurbished. Lens hood, Bag, lens booklet, and bag. $150.
4. Canon 28-135mm f/3.5 - 5.6 EF IS USM Macro. Lens has no scratches or fungus. $125

Some vacation pictures from my trip to beautiful RMNP last September. We were there when the elk were rutting and the aspen turned golden, great time to be at the park.

All photos taken with Nikon D750. Lenses used Nikkor 24-70 f/2.8 G, Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8 and Sigma 70-200mm. Haida ND six stop and ten stop filters.

I'm preparing for a trip to Colorado in September, and would like to have some ND filters to use for waterfalls and sky photos. I've looked at adorama, B&H, amazon, ebay, google, youtube for information on the various square/rectangular filter systems. I'd love to get the Lee system, but a little too expensive. I noticed several times in my searching the Vu and Nisi systems, but have not found a lot of information about them. Are these similar in quality to Lee? Does anyone have experience using the Vu and Nisi systems, and would you recommend them? Or should I just save up my nickels and dimes and get Lee someday?

With regard to taking pictures of recognizable people and selling them, it seems if you are a "celebrity" it is open season.

I saw a program the other night on Jackie Kennedy and photographer Ron Galella, who very much did not have her permission to sell photos he took of her, yet he did and made his living at it.

Julle,

If the wedding is outside in daytime, then the a6000 and the lenses you have should work ok. If inside and dim lighting and you cannot use flash, then you might have a problem.

I've tried inside with the lenses you have and my results were pretty mixed. I was new with the camera and no doubt missed some better settings, but I got some noisy pictures at 3200 ISO in dim light.

I also was slow on the focus methods, and had trouble getting sharp pictures when people were moving.

If you are experienced with the camera, and can change your focus settings quickly, and you have enough light for the lenses you are using I presume you have the 16-50mm and the 55-210mm (not counting the 50mm 1.8, that is fine in lower light), then I would do it for friends.

You don't say if the bride is going to pay you. If she really expects pro level shots, then I would decline if you have not shot a wedding before with this camera.

Also, addressing your enlargement comment, there should be no problem enlarging a6000 pictures to reasonable sizes (11x14, 16x20).

Yes, he did, I bought it from him. Excellent transaction, George was a pleasure to deal with.

NO you can't put a Nikon lens on a sony. Reports indicate slow auto focus and other issues. Sony does not have the lenses Nikon has. So just wait and good things will come to you.

Yes, you can use Nikon lenses in manual mode only with Sony mirrorless cameras like the a6000 using an adapter. But, even with the manual focusing aids built in to the a6000, I've had some difficulty getting tack sharp pictures using Nikon lenses on it. Some of the old but good Nikon glass, like the 135mm Ai-S f/2.8 seem to fit the smaller Sony's well.

But, I wouldn't get rid of my Nikon cameras and only use Sony. Nikon's lens choices dwarf Sony's and always will.
