Wow!! What an arm!!! She must play some kind of ball.

I think that's Kelsey Plum. She is a WNBA player for the Las Vegas Aces and is the NCAA D1 women's leading scorer. She played her college ball at Washington. And she IS a lefty.

Something to know if you bought, or are about to buy, a new Mac: On the new M1 (non-Intel, Apple Silicon system-on-chip powered) Macs released last Fall, most of the Adobe apps are not yet running natively. They do run quite well in Rosetta 2, the translation environment for Intel applications, but more slowly than they will when Adobe completes its rewriting of the apps for Apple Silicon.

DaVinci Resolve is another video editing tool that plays extremely well on Macs and PCs. It has long been the tool of filmmakers for color correction (color grading in film-speak).

I have a good friend here in Seattle who works in video all the time. He says that many of the video professionals he knows have migrated to DaVinci. Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve has a paid Studio version and a free version, all available for Mac, Windows, or Linux. A common question we are asked is what you get with the Studio version and if it's worth the investment. The free version is robust on its own and may be enough for many users.Jun 15, 2020

You can transfer up to 2 gigs for free using www.wetransfer.com. It works like a charm. If you need more, you can upgrade to the pro version for not much money. I use the free version all the time.

I also am shooting with a Z6 and it's the lens I use for portraits (as well as my go to lens for macro.)

Yes I am going with the wrentit as the colors seem to be closer just wish I could have gotten a better shot but I will keep my eyes open in case it returns. Thanks.

The wrentit range does not go into Washington. It's in Western Oregon. Your's is a female bushtit.

Here is a fantastic website that has been created by an amazing couple on Whidbey Island (Freeland). Craig Johnson is a watercolor artist that started taking pictures of birds for subject matter to paint. His wife, Joy, is a writer. https://www.pugetsoundbackyardbirds.com/

Nikon has just released the Z6II and the Z7II will be out in December. I have a Z6 and love it. Your wife will be amazed at the Z6-II. The Z lenses are amazing and she can use all your current glass as well. I would bet the Z 24-70 (f4) with it. I think the price is right, and she will be super pleased.

Hopefully you have a local camera store that has skilled sales people. Go see them and tell them what you are trying to accomplish and they will show you several options.

I am shooting with a Z6 and using my SB910 and SB700. I purchased Phottix Odin II; one transmitter and 2 receivers. They seem to be working fine (Haven't had to use them much). They have a great range.

Creative Live has some out standing videos. John Greengo has some fantastic instructional videos. I also have some series by Ben Wilmore, both his Lightroom and Photoshop. Agree, there is lots of FREE stuff on YouTube, but then you get what you pay for. Some of it is good, some not so good.

I will second the nod to John Greengo. Anything by him is outstanding and worth the time and the money!

A few more factoids: How does one remember "Port" from "Starboard?" Port and left both have four letters. And that Port used to be called "larboard", but in a storm it was difficult to hear, so they began to use Port. And the running lights (red and green) can be remembered because port wine is red.

Anything you want to learn, just "google" it! Someone will have a video out showing you how to do it.
