I like the scam theory, this would be a fairly dumb way to sell stolen goods that are easily identifiable. I recall a similar ad few years ago for smoking deal on a Nikon D5, the seller responded with the "I'm in a different city now so send the money and I'll ship the camera" story.
I thought it interesting that such a ridiculous low price instantly raises suspicion, if he set the price at say $2500 or so it would appear more credible.

I have the Kindle paperwhite version which uses the front light electronic ink, much easier on the eyes since it’s not a computer screen. Battery lasts a week or so also

I have used several 4/3 lenses with my EM 1iii and now OM 1 using the Pany adapter with very good results, especially the 14-35 f2 SWD which is a beast and still fairly pricey

For sale is my pristine EM1iii body. Condition is (KEH scale) LN- with shutter count of 2714. No blemishes or marks. Comes with all original items, (2) batteries and charger.
KEH price for camera of this rating is approx. $1350, New is going for $1500.
I am asking $1200 net to me firm.
Also have the HLD-9 battery grip in like new condition (maybe used twice). KEH price around $200. I’m asking $150.
Prefer to sell together but will do separately.
Only reason I’m selling this great camera is I gave in to the GAS attack and bought an OM-1.
