Great! Love your creativity! I'm not familiar with Inkscape - have to take a look.

Just an idea .... I made posters for my grandchildren - a collage of various shots from their sports. I used Photoshop Elements.

I just came across an article that has a lot of information for relative beginners. Although it's labeled for landscapes, I feel it has quite a bit of useful information, well explained, about general settings. Also some of the other articles by this author, Anne McKinnell, appear to be quite interesting. Check it out ............ http://digital-photography-school.com/ultimate-guide-landscape-photography/
Hope this may be of some help.

The more I hear about it, the more I am liking the RX10iii. I'd like to hear some more from owners, to get their experiences.

I have this new Sony and love it! I purchased it for a trip to Alaska so I wouldn't have to carry lenses. It did the job for jumping whales to caribu and bears waaay off on a mountain. Telephoto is great - also sharp and colorful landscapes! I found it good in low light also. Highly recommended.

I too had the Sony 717 and loved it. Such sharp photos! I have been very happy with other Sony's too and recently purchased the new Sony Cyber Shot RX10M3 for a trip. It's a bridge so you don't have to bother changing lenses. It goes from 24-600 mm. Loved it on our recent trip to Alaska - it performed well and was easy to use. It's larger and heavier than the A6000, but always ready for any type of shot.

Absolutely beautiful! I am in Talkeetna now at the lodge. Watched the sun set around 11:00 pm last night. Denali is in some clouds but I think I saw the top revealed yesterday. Today we're taking the plane around her - maybe she'll come out. It's a clear day with sun and blue skies. Sad to say I haven't a photo of a moose on this two week fantastic trip.

A couple of samples at the llama show - gloomy day, poor lighting.

I went and picked up the new Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX10 III the day it was released. I had ordered it after reading a similar discussion on this forum just a couple of weeks ago about planning a trip to Alaska. We have a trip to Alaska in July and this camera seemed like a wonderful option to not carrying multiple lenses so I quickly ordered it. I have been using the Sony A77 and was hoping the 600 zoom would be better than my 70-300 lens. I haven't read the manual yet, but so far I'm happy with it - with my limited use so far and also my non-professional status. I was able to capture some pretty good action shots in dim light too.

How would this compare to the Sony a77 with 70-300 for wildlife? We're planning a trip to Alaska this coming summer.

A lot of good ideas and thoughts posted!! All of them work - just a matter of personal taste. The crop above was nice but, in this case, I think they would like the christening gown to show as I understand it has been handed down in the family and is quite old. Thanks to all who worked on this for your time and suggestions .... and good work!!

Your picture reminded me of our Granddaughter and when my wife and I had her in our arms. This was here bedroom. Our son had the bear painted on the wall. I am pretty sure this is not what you were expecting but I hope you don't mind. Jim

Not what I was expecting at all but that is sooo cute! Definitely a fun idea for a new background and I never thought of something like that. Thanks for posting a creative suggestion.

I'm trying to put in a new background and just haven't come up with the perfect one. Please post any suggestions for a complimentary background and improvements to this photo? Thanks in advance for any ideas.
